Q: Are the tips silicone or hard plastic?

The material is silicone, the blades are rigid, not all floppy. I love this product, and definitely recommend them, I have a set of 3 so can use them for meat, veg and fish. The colours are lovely, I bought the lime green ,red and blue.

Q: Can i turn home made potato fritter in oil

I bought my set of 3,in January`21...and use then to turn steaks,chops,mushrooms,anything i am frying in hot oil...2 weeks ago,one of the ends split...i had to cut it off ,with scissors to make them whole again...but if all goes bad ,i still have another 2 in the cupboard.
