Bottom Line: This Book Works
Such a great book on purchasing foreclosed properties. After reading this book I was able to purchase my first foreclosure in early October and I officially sold it late December. This book is filled with examples and step by step instructions on what you need to do to buy a foreclosed home. Disclaimer: The book won’t buy the properties for you. You will need to put in the work. But if you take the lessons and advice in this book, apply them, and then do your due diligence for your respective county, you’ll be successful. A big thank you to Aaron and David for writing such an excellent how-to manual on this unique aspect of real estate investing

This The One
I absolutely loved this book. Prior to reading this book I had absolutely zero experience about foreclosed home. Now I feel extremely confident about taking my first step to buying a foreclosed home. It's doesn't go into depth about obtaining the funds for a foreclosed home but it does break down the process of buying a home in foreclosure. It's a great book I'd recommend. 5 stars easy.

Chock full of practical advice
There are so many nuggets of wisdom. You can tell the writers are experts in this area. The book is well organized and the stories or anecdotes really illuminate the key points This book is so good, you won't want to put it down I expect to use repeatedly as a reference.

The one star reviewer is wrong
This book was great, especially for beginners. This book isn't meant for someone that already knows how to invest in foreclosures; it's for someone that does or doesn't know real estate and the foreclosure part of it. It's well written and like a cook book, giving step by step directions on what and how to do it!

Great book
I bought this book after hearing the authors on a podcast. It was easy to understand and very helpful. I would highly recommend if you are interested in buying foreclosures.

Not worth the time
I have to say, this book was very disappointing. Light on anything substantial. Basically just an overview of what foreclosures are.

Disappointing To Say The Least
If you haven't done any research into foreclosures you might learn something. It is just really simple. I was really excited to buy the book after hearing them on the BP podcasts. I wanted to mostly focus on doing my own title searches. They just tell you to do your own search via country records and then also pay a title search firm to see what you missed. The "5 step process" is pretty simple. 1. Build a large list of properties that you want. 2. Drive By them on nights and weekends, talk to neighbors. 3. Run your comps on the properties. 4. Research the Title (title company + your own research ) 5. Bid on the Property at Auction. That is it LOL. Thanks, that could have been a 5 paragraph blog post and certainly not worth writing a book. No real talk about buying occupied properties or the varying lengths of redemption timeframes from states ( Mich 6 months vs Texas at 30 days). Nothing really advanced at all, I returned the book.
