Great Ideas, but need more planning to implement
I read this and really liked the ideas but I need to plan a little more before we actually do the challenge. Definitely a good challenge for assessment and reflection on your financial life and appreciating the things you have.

A month living without spending
There are series of activities to be conducted to carry out the days of the month without spendingand using the items at home to prepare necessary stuff and meals for the day. Through this program the bonding among the family members are increased to unbelievable level. Also we would be able to find the areas which we spend extra cash without been aware of. It’s vital to improve the monthly budget required for personal expenses of the family very precisely.

Very Disappointed
Had I seen this in a bookstore, in person, I would not have bothered. It's just a book telling me to go to different websites to get the information that should have been printed in the book. That is why I bought the book, to read it, and get the actual information from the book. Not to have to get up out of my comfy reading chair to go to the computer and look stuff up. It's ridiculous. Practically every page has a website I need to go to, to get the information the author mentions, but does not include in the book. Who has time for that? I wish publishers would stop publishing books where you have to go to websites for the details, but sadly that seems like what they are doing these days. If I am buying the printed copy of the book I expect the information to be there, in the actual book, that I just paid my hard earned money for.The tips in this book just weren't that helpful for me. Going through my closet and getting rid of half my clothing that I spent good money on, just to narrow it down to 40 hangers, is just throwing money away, that doesn't "save" me money. Making crafts, that I wouldn't buy anyway, is just cluttering up my house. And eating all the food in my house for 30 days would save money for 30 days but what about next month when you have eaten up everything you have in the house? You will end up spending a small fortune the next time you go to the grocery store to restock your kitchen and replace the food for your refrigerator, freezer, and pantry.

Pretty Good, but check out my book Rec
This is very, very short. There's a lot of good resources in it, so make sure you have persistent internet connection on whatever device you read it on. Not recommended for Kindle Paperwhite readers for this reason, unless you don't mind bookmarking the pages with links and then going to find the resources provided on your browser. Nifty little book! One book I liked a LOT more, though, was The Spender's Guide to Debt-Free Living (here: https://smile.amazon.com/Spenders-Guide-Debt-Free-Living-Spending/dp/0062367188/ref=mt_paperback?_encoding=UTF8&me= ) which I got from the library but is so good I'm considering grabbing a used copy if there's one for a good price, or taking it out of the library again.

Great Read, Very Valuable Resources in the book!
Absolutely lovely book to read. I couldn't stop, not sure I could go a whole month without spending a dime, but I picked up a lot of valuable tips from this book. The resources she listed in the book are amazing and I would highly recommend you don't stop at the book. Go check out her website and her blogs, lots of great stuff here. Good job Routh Soukup, you have a new fan. Thank you!

Go for the No-spend challenge! Ruth will walk you through it
I absolutely adore Ruth Soukup and this challenge she has created. I followed along with her periscope and Instagram posts while she was taking her readers through the challenge on her website. I was very intrigued and decided to purchase the book as it had all of her blog posts in one handy place a And in a day by day format. Most days have forms that can be printed from her site that go with the day's challenge. I've been keeping them in a binder and utilizing some of them. She's thought of everything to be successful in this challenge and I highly recommend it!

Definitely a worthwhile program for anyone who would like to change their spending habits and their relationship with ...
I did the online version of this program that Ruth offers occasionally, and it helped me to start operating more with an attitude of abundance than poverty. It has changed how I meal plan, it has gotten me out of the habit of always looking to purchase something to solve a problem - instead challenging me to come up with creative solutions of things we have on hand. Definitely a worthwhile program for anyone who would like to change their spending habits and their relationship with money.

An interesting challenge written by an author skilled in the topics she writes about.
Ruth Soukup writes an interesting perspective on how to use and shop within your house; she does not mean that bills do not get paid, she means that use what you have in your pantry, cupboards, fridge, freezer, etc. The spending Zero is a vacation from spending on extras for 31 days. This is to help you put money into savings, like an emergency fund, help to pay a large bill coming in unexpectedly or other household surprises that can occur. The is a well written, practical, and organized book full of how to accomplish this 31 day challenge advice and tips. I would recommend any book written by Ruth Soukup!

Tolles Buch!

Very useful.
I have found this book very useful. I don't know that I could save as much money as the author thinks you can, but the principles are very useful, especially the batch cooking and taking a break from non essential buying. It's made me think about how I spend, and also given me ideas for crafts and entertainment. There is a lot of information in the book.
