Got this toy for my son, we spent some time building itbut the manufacturer made it easy, all the parts come in separate bagswith numbers on it so we had no trouble.the robot moves in all directions come with wireless remote controlthe best part for me I don't have to buy batteries is rechargeable.love it.

It’s a little top heavy and falls forward when stopping quickly but that doesn’t interfere with the overall experience. My girls have enjoyed playing with this robot. The app for iPhone works good and lets you draw a path for the robot to drive. I would recommend this durable robot to people looking for a fun STEM project for their children.

I was skeptical about buying it because I've seen some awful off-brand "Legos." But it was a lot of pieces for the money and my son loves robots and anything remote controlled, so we decided to go for it. I'm impressed with the quality of the blocks. They interlock with just the right friction, even with real Legos. The instructions were good enough that my 8-year-old (who does Legos regularly) was able to build it with only needing help a couple minor times. The robot moves faster than I thought it would, and the app works too (though it's rather unnecessary I think). I couldn't figure out how to make use of the speaker. I will definitely buy more kits from this manufacturer.

My seven year old loves this robot. He needed help putting some of it together, partly because the instructions weren't always clear and partly because he lacked sufficient finger strength for some things. That said, he really enjoyed working with me to build it, and this is the first radio controlled device he's actually enjoyed driving around for more than 30 seconds. It is well-designed and doesn't fall apart easily.

This is a good product but it is entirely Chinese through and through. To get the voice remote to work, you must download a sketchy Chinese app. That should’ve been local. People are understandably reluctant to downloan apps like that these days but the toy won’t work without it.

This was a good purchase. My 6 y/o and ai put it together over a 2 day period. There are some hairy times that only an adult can do but they are towards the end and only 3 steps. Great buy! When it was finished the use with controller was easy, but app and finding this specific toy was incredibly hard. The ID number was not able to be found and the toy pic was not to be found. It took me 30 mins of toying around but found the app for a smart phone. The app was easy to find. The specific toy was hard. I would buy again! Great tone building with my kid and his sense of accomplishment was priceless.

Your child will definitely need assistance building this robot but the finished product is definitely worth it. Took between 2 and 3 hours to assemble. Works great! The only thing I found odd is the controls on the remote seem to be backwards (top=down, bottom=up, left=goes right, right=goes left)

Very Cool!!! I bought this as a project to do with my 4 year old son who is robot obsessed after watching Big Hero 6. This kit was awesome and excellent quality and design. All of the pieces were there plus extras of some of the tinier stuff. The parts were organized in bags making hunting parts and assembling much easier. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. It was too advanced for a 4 year old to build on his own, but he was able to assemble a lot of the components himself. He is able to control it himself. This is an excellent, fun robot kit and I strongly recommend it to anyone interested.

This is a fantastic toy to get a young child introduced to STEM. Our 7 year old had lots of fun building the robot (with some assistance) and then controlling it with the remote and the app. The app will ask for a lot of permissions, but it is fine and works very well to provide a simple programming interface and also offers some neat tricks like voice control and gyroscope control from the phone. And since it is compatible with Lego blocks, we had fun building more machines and vehicles and other robots with the base unit. This is a highly recommended product, we are very satisfied with it.

This is a wonderful kit to start learning about robotics, my kids loved and it made them busy having fun while trying to find a way to build it. The good thing is that you can reveal the little engineer in your kid and it challenges them for hours. Happy with this product and thankful because it made my son ignore the ipad for hours.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I got this Robot kit for my son turning 10. He was absolutely amazed looking at the box but was a bit overwhelmed to see the hundreds of tiny parts. It took around 6 hours over 3 days to put them all together. The instruction guide is quite important here without which it is almost impossible to put this up. It was a challenge to keep track of all the parts and we did end up missing a couple of parts - never sure if we missed these or were missing to begin with. Some extra components if thrown in would be really great. After assembling the robot, it was a bit disappointing to realize that the robot does not move forward or backward in a straight line. Rather, it goes on in a circular motion - forward or backward. The attached video shows its 'demo' movements and it includes all possible movements this robot can have.Overall, its worth the time and effort, as well as worth the price. Would positively recommend having one.

I purchased this item for my grandchild as a Christmas present. As a matter of fact, I bought a few as well for my other grandkids. They enjoyed building them as well as playing with them. These robots are not just fun to built but they teach the advantages of and how solar energy works. It took a little longer for them to charge because we had almost no sunny days in this part of the world. Provide infinite hours of entertainment. Great value for what they cost. I recommend them and will purchase more models as they become available.

Great little project for kids and adults.came with all the pieces and a few extras . Easy to use with just installing two AAA batteries into remote with little stew driver they provide but need to buy the two AAA batteries your self.main robot has built in rechargeable batteries and come with little sub charging cord but no usb charger.robot works great and price was amazing .would recommend buying more as we bought two and kids can't stop playing with them lol.
