Okay so as a man with a beard who actually bought this for himself and has used the product I feel I'm better placed to actually review this, than all the people who bought it as a gift for someone else but never actually used it....Firstly I bought this because it is incredible value for money when I consider I often pay this much for the beard oil alone. I cannot deny that all all extra bits like razor, scissors, beard bib and brushes make this worthwhile. But now I have those bits from the kit I would never buy it again. The beard oil, balm and shampoo are very bad quality, hardly any scent, the oil is ridiculously thick, I've used so many oils and this is the worst one I've ever tried. Simply did not moisturise my bears and was a weird thick greasy consistency. Feels synthetic and cheap. The shampoo is like hand soap from a cheap public toilet dispenser. The balm is basically vaseline.
