Comfortable
Does what supposed to do ! Others are too hard on feet. These are just right. Podiatrist recommended instead of orthotics. Happy. And cushioned.

Saved My Feet
I walk at least 5 miles every morning. Even various $200+ running/walking shoes I tried (New Balance, Merrell, etc.) did not provide enough arch support, so on a recommendation from my podiatrist, I tried these. Couldn't be happier. First, I wear 11.5 and these come in exactly that size, so no cutting to fit - they fit perfect out of the box. Second, they feel like they were made for my main shoes (New Balance 990s). BTW, why don't New Balance and other shoe manufacturers use this high of quality insoles out-of-the-box? Shouldn't have to pay extra for food insoles on a pair of $200 shoes, but I guess that's an issue for another review. Bottom line, if you walk a lot of miles, these are great for support and comfort.

Well made
Provides the support I wanted. My low back pain is much less when using them especially when standing for long periods.

Best Spenco insoles so far
So far so good, I've tried several Spenco insoles. My issue is my heals get sore. This pair seems to have just enough heal and arch support. Not comfortable bare foot so I give them 4 stars

smaller than expected, not as wide as expected either
ordered mens 10-11.5 (box they came in does NOT say what size and it is NOT printed on the inserts anywhere!! so not sure what I actually got!!) and have size 11 boots and they are not wide enough in the front (have not trimmed them at all) and they are short about 1/2 inch in the front too. Not happy about that, but will use them inside my sketchers 10.5 shoes where they fit perfectly.

The Spenco Walker/Runner Insoles are great in tennis shoes!
I use the Spenco Walker/Runner Insoles in tennis shoes and Spenco Cross Trainer Insoles in my casual shoes and absolutely love them! The Walker/Runner are a bit thicker than the Cross Trainer and don't fit as well in shoes with less room inside like casual shoes. I currently have a pair of Spenco insoles in four different pairs of shoes. Amazon has the best price I've been able to find.I've had occassional problems over the years with Plantar Faciitis. Each time I've injured a foot, it was because I wasn't wearing one of these insoles and didn't have proper support from the shoes I was wearing. My feet are otherwise fairly normal/healthy.I have tried other insoles (Super Feet, Dr Scholls and one other sold in brick & mortar shoe stores, can't remember the brand) and like these the best. The Spencos have more padding and just a little more arch support which make them much more comfortable. There are no noise or squeek problems with the Cross Trainer or Walker/Runner versions like have been reported with the Spenco Total Support insoles. I will say that I tried a pair of the Powerstep Pinnacle orthotics after one injury. They were great until my foot healed enough to go back to the Spenco insoles. The Powersteps are the only real orthotic I've ever worn. One lesson I have learned is that shoes and insoles wear out. Now I replace my insoles every year or so. Doing this helps extend the lifespan of my shoes while providing proper support for my feet.Highly recommended! I will buy these again!
