Can you leave the battery in the charger. Is it a trickle charger that will not damage the battery, but always leave it fully charged?

According to the manual, "If the green indicator light is 'ON', the charger is plugged in but the battery pack is not inserted, or the battery pack is fully charged and is being trickle charged."Since these are Lithium-ion batteries, my experience is that they hold a charge very well so keeping one in the charger isn't necessary. Ni-Cad batteries do not hold a charge as long.

Will this be powerful enough to drill 2” 3/8 holes in tables?

It could if you drilled slowly and reasonably carefully. I find myself reaching for my larger corded drill for big holes, using forstner bits, etc.

Can this item drill a concrete wall? and what's the difference between this item and "Bosch Bare-Tool PS31BN 12-Volt Max Lithium-Ion 3/8-Inch 2-Speed Drill/Driver with Exact-Fit L-BOXX Tool Insert Tray"?

i have not used my ps31-2a 12 for drilling in concrete, because i have a bosch hammer drill that does a great job in concrete. i would expect that this drill would work fine with a good sharp concrete bit, and drilling smaller holes. if you are planning to drill larger holes and deep holes, you should use a larger drill preferably a hammer drill.
