Assembly was a breeze, and I really appreciated the thoughtful design—especially the extra support wheel under the bottom drawer to prevent sagging or wobbling. The drawers glide smoothly, and the built-in stabilizers double as handy file dividers, which is a brilliant touch. The cabinet feels incredibly sturdy, and the locking wheels with washers keep it secure yet easy to move when needed. It’s clear this was made with durability and long-term use in mind. I set up my new 2-drawer file today from DEVAISE. I love it. It's exactly as described and exactly what I needed in my home office. It's the perfect color, perfect design & has an anti-tip feature. Sleek drawers with the no protruding handles nice locking mechanism. The drawers operate very smoothly and without a struggle. The extra pedestal completely prevents tipping forward when you have a drawer of heavy files open. I really like that! The cabinet arrived fully assembled. The only step the consumer must complete is installation of the four casters and the anti-tip pedestal. Easy – Peezy with the included tools and instruction guide with illustrations. Believe me, you can’t fail at this. The features of your product are high quality & designed with the end user in mind. I'm very glad that I ordered this 2-drawer, metal filing cabinet from DEWAISE. Actually packaged very well and arrived with no dents even though FedEx tried as there was damage to the shipping box. No complaints on the cabinet but I thought the wheels were a bit cheaply made. Looks good and the drawers slide with no issue. They pull out all the way so there's no issue getting things from the back of the drawer. Didn't take much time to assemble wheels and all tools other than screw driver included. The lock works upon initial inspection. Can't speak to how well but overall satisfied with purchase.

This is a surprisingly sturdy and well built rolling file cabinet. My expectations were for a cheap chinese product, but this came nearly fully assembled, with no burrs or misalignments. Highly recommended.

Exactly what I needed. It is very study and came well packaged. The box was made of thick cardboard and it was completely covered in thick foam with corner protectors. I was hesitant to buy this file cabinet because I thought it would be dented. Honestly, it seems impossible to dent it through the packaging. The overall quality of the cabinet is excellent. I highly recommend. You get a set of keys that locks with no issues and it is very easy to put the wheels on.

I just received this and it was a joy that is was assembled. It was well packaged and in perfect condition upon arrival. I have just started using it and so far so good.

Devaise is hands down the WORST company I have ever dealt with here on Amazon. The absolute worse! The product is fine. I have to admit it is good quality, nice looking, and functions well. However, their customer service is abysmal and they are outright liars. Their Amazon product page states they secure free returns for Prime users. I search for products that do because as a professional organizer, I source a ton of products for clients and see what works best for their needs and return what does not. It's the same as purchasing directly from brick and mortar stores. I purchased two file cabinets for my client because he/we were unsure if he wanted a cabinet for each, personal and professional filling or just one for both categories. Turned out we only needed one and I therefore started the returns process. I wrote them a few times, as Amazon instructed I do. I got ignored each time. I then turned to Amazon and they pushed me to reach out to Devaise again and was told that Amazon would refund me, np, if they failed to communicate with me. Well, Amazon must have sent them word because I finally heard from them. I wish I could say this was the end of the story and I was turned into a happy consumer, but, it is not the case. To make an extremely long-winded, utterly frustrating, and maddening long story short, there were SEVERAL more interactions with Devaise AND Amazon with tons of promises given and every single one of them broken. My two favorites- the ones needing the biggest and brightest highlighting, are the instances when Devaise told me to pay for the return fee ($40) and that once they received the item, they would refund my delivery AND purchase amount. I've yet to hear from them. I contacted Amazon, who told me they would make Devaise pay me back since they are in network- sort of speak, and that they would not want to lose their ability to sell on Amazon's platform. I told Amazon that too much time had elapsed and not a single word- nor refunded funds- from them and ended up getting expedited to the business return supervisors department. After dealing with soooooo many Amazon reps, each stating they'd help me, each promising to help, I finally made it to the department that could effectively take care of all of this for me and were so incredibly sorry for all of the issues I had, and the many complaints in. This supervisor was going to make things right and send me the full refund for the item and return fee asap. I almost cried. This headache was soon to be over. I did request an email stating as such, because I learned from another incident that you should always ask for an email stating what is being promised. I had previously gone through a crappy return situation and that rep filled me with rainbows and butterflies and asked for a review. I was so pleased that I gave a 5 star customer service review before receiving my refund. I never received that refund either, but learned to hold onto reviewing until the appropriate action was executed. Well I lament to report that I never did have that opportunity to send in that 5 star customer service review for this gent that promised me the full refund in record time BECAUSE IT HAS BEEN ABOUT 2 MONTHS SINCE THAT LAST PROMISE WITH AN EMAIL AND ABOUT 4 MONTHS SINCE THIS ALL STARTED. Who has time for all of this, not to mention, the energy. In fact, that is what it feels like... feels like they all just strung me along in hopes I would just forget or give up. I have no choice but to use Amazon for tons of client purchases based on several factors, but, I wish it weren't the case. And tbh, I have other gripes about their return policy, like returning to WF and still being charged for returned items because they never made it to the warehouse which is out of my control once I leave it at their counter. I hate that I even had to leave this review because in the end, I'm left with this ill feeling in my gut and know that not a one of any of them has thought twice about this. I do hope this review will steer you away from buying from this company as they have terrible, TERRIBLE business practices and sense. You can easily find the same exact product from another retailer with assuredly way better ethics.
