A Parent's Guide to Archery

Great book on guiding my daughter in the field of archery. Though I don't think she will get into the competitive aspect of it, she is having fun learning about archery (as is my wife) and the discipline involved in learning about the bow. Archery is a great sport and one that the entire family can go out in the yard and participate in and enjoy.

This book is alright but it is really a parent's guide and it will give a lot of information for the parent to help the child.

If your child is interested in getting started in archery this book is an excellent resource. Our daughter has been involved for nearly two years and I wish I would have read this when she was first starting out. Some good tips of equipment and what to expect if your child wants to get into competitions.

Steve's easy going style and ability to present important material and information makes this the perfect book not only for parents, but youth who want to learn more about the in's and out's of archery. It's a 'must have' for anyone thinking of taking the sport to the next level after a recreational experience. The only thing missing is information regarding US Collegiate Archery which is the next step for college bound youth. [...]

This book contains valuable information that would benefit anyone involved in the sport of archery. It would take many hours of research to compile this information and still you would be missing something. Steve has done a great job on this book and I recommend that every one involved in archery or thinking about archery buy a copy.
