This thing works amazing

I Have a Jeep Gladiator with a manual transmission. If I take the doors off any could tamper with the clutch and roll the vehicle away… This brake/ shift lock is great! I can pull the handle up to engage parking brake and lock the shifter in gear! Adds a Great layer of protection!

Fits my Toyota 4Runner early 2000s. Solid constuction. On my car the lock can be deployed on the parking brake up (on) or down (off). I didn't realize at first that the parking brake up (on) setting means the lock prevents BOTH car movement AND shifting. Lol! I also bought the steering wheel brake pedal lock which is also well made. Both these units use a proven lock style with drill resistence. Of course no lock will stop a portable angle grinder but locks like these make taking your vehicle much harder. Last pluses are the size which is more portable and bright yellow color. Update: As per another poster the ring shifter connection on this unit is not that strong and can be opened with a pry tool like a screwdriver. The company should have used a method that is more structurally secure like a pin in hole idea. Note that the LOCK itself is good, the weak point is how the pin that comes out engages with the half circle. I have deducted 1 star from my review. Note that the tool is strong enough to resist opening with hands only so still works as a deterrent.

Fits the 6 speed manual Jeep Wrangler very well. I've been using it for about a year now. Easy on, easy off.

This product does not fit short shifters. Even as small as it will go it does not fit on e brake and gear shifter

Great Concept, but we had to return it because it would not fit our 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL. There is not enough clearance to install it on the break handle as instructed and make it attach to the shift knob stem on the Jeep as it instructs. Regardless of how we adjusted it, we could not get the collar of the lock to close around the shift nob stem enough to lock. The collar needed to be a bit longer/bigger in order to be able to lock it. The jeeps gear shift is too thick. On the right vehicle, it would work great.

I have a 2020 kia and of course we all know about the Kia Boyz. So my anxiety was through the roof. My friend told me about this so I decided to order it. At first it was a little difficult for me to put it on. But after practicing it several times. I can put it on and take it off within a couple of seconds. When it's on there it is very difficult to move. Which I like. I still use my club on my steering wheel too

It's easy to use. Locks the gearshift by connecting to the emergency break handle. Will keep anyone from rolling it away or taking it out of gear. Stores easily under the seat. Love it.

Very Good Product, once in place, impossible to disengage the handbrake. Great visual deterrent. Highly recommended.
