Purchased this to replace OEM CHMSL. This new lamp works great. Both brake light and cargo lamps are significantly brighter than factory original. Easy install.

To be honest I purchased this to quickly replace the oem light that broke as a quick fix to close a hole on the roof of my truck. But the lighting for the bed of the truck and reverse are 10x better than the original. Over all satisfied with the purchase and I don’t think I want to go back to the incandescent bulbs that burn out all the time. Led lights are bright and function as I need. Great deal for the quality of material and fitment.

I have purchased 2 of these. Exact same item and the same seller. First one leaks. Seal is too thin and does not seal properly. Stained my headliner. The second order received a totally different light. It did not fit the opening. Personally I'd stay away from these aftermarket lights. If you happen to get one that fits you'll need to buy a thicker seal which you can find on Amazon for about $14.00.

Like: BRIGHT!Dislike: Tabs don’t fit without trimming, needs better gasket.Overall: For the low cost, if it lasts a good couple years at least, then it’ll have been worth it.My OEM Assembly cracked, and began leaking. Still trying to figure out what happened there. Ordered this, at the review of another user, I ordered a thicker gasket. Just like everyone else, the alignment pegs are too big. The plastic is soft enough I was able to trim them with just a pair of pliers. The thicker gasket I ordered was a good idea, it mitigated the leaking issues others discussed, even so; I still applied RTV along the top edge of the lamp. All in all, if the lamp’s LEDs hold up, then it will have been worth it, especially given how bright they are. Honestly I wanted a replacement OEM unit, but they’re insanely expensive, and out of stock everywhere.

This product was very easy to replace, but the gasket was larger and left a slight gap above the light. I'm not worried about water getting in seeing as there is a good gasket included, but worth noting.Light is bright and everything worked right out of the box, no issues!

Easy to install. Brighter than OEM. Good price. Dont lose those little circle thingies that you think might be garbage, they are sealing plugs. Looks great and performs well.
