A great, light monitor that comes with basically all the accessories needed out of the box.
I want to start by noting the fantastic quality of the packaging provided G-Story and my confusion at how their copious amount of padding did not prevent the damage, as seen in the other reviews. While unfortunate, I don’t think that the incidents caused by the amazon warehouse should warrant a negative review about the monitor itself. From my experience, when used in conjunction with the right connectors, the display offers precisely what is described in a robust, thin, and light package. The monitor comes with all the goodies you need to get started, and when paired with a high-quality HDMI 2.0 cable, a 1080p 165Hz signal should be no issue since the HDMI 2.0 spec can support up to 240Hz at 1080p. I found no problem configuring the panel using the NVIDIA Control Panel to the correct refresh rate and for G-SYNC. The brightness was optimal with its 300 nits, and the auto-rotate can quickly turn the monitor into a coding friendly format in a sec. The inclusion of a remote is a is considerate considering the tough to use side controller. However, be careful of the power source you select because I couldn’t use my 20W Anker USB C charger and only found consistency when using the included 30W USB C charging brick.Regarding the monitor’s performance, the matte, non-reflective screen is convenient to reduce glare, and I found no issues in competitive FPS games when using the monitor. While the monitor does lack a VESA mount or VESA screw holes, it’s relatively cheap to find a quick-release VESA adapter that could make this monitor even more versatile. With the quick-release adapter, the monitor can double as a secondary screen for my main PC setup while being a portable screen for travel as well. As high-power gaming becomes smaller and more portable with the introduction of the new generation consoles, I find that the paring of a portable high refresh rate monitor like this one a no-brainer.In summary:Pros:165Hz refresh rate for competitive gamingIncludes a variety of accessories such as a remoteIncludes future-proof connectors like USB CGreat price when compared to the competition from ASUSPortable and lightCons:Can be picky with power supplyNot 100% SRGBNot VESA compatible out of the box (can add a VESA adapter)Can be brighter for outdoor use (although 300 nits are plenty for indoors)

HDMI port is defective
I bought the G story 17.3 display April of 2020 so I’ve had it about2 going on 3 years. I use it with my PS5 when I travel. The major issue with this thing is if u move the screen any type of way the video will cut out. I’ve bought cords with hdmi to mini hdmi, I’ve also tried the hdmi to mini hdmi adapter, doesn’t matter the hdmi interface is faulty. After this long I’ve had enough. Save your money and buy a moniter for under$ 200. It’s a headache to spend this much and still have to buy extra accessories to work properly. Also u can’t power moniter with the PS5. It will work for a little while but shut off.

I love it
Wish the cover stand was strong enough to keep the monitor straight up instead at a back angle.

Does what it's supposed to do
I've carried this all over the US in my luggage. I used it side-by-side with either my 13.9 inch computer or my 17 inch computer as an extra monitor. I've also successfully connected it to my cell phone as an external monitor for DEX.I don't have any complaints about it but have had trouble getting it to work with anything other than micro HDMI. It's a decent extension and it packs easily. I am thinking about getting a second one.Picture quality and viewing angles are great. I don't think I've used it for gaming yet since my main screen on my laptop is usually more than enough.

Nice monitor,Amazon Warehouse sucks!!!
the bad, two full weeks to get out of the Amazon warehouse when I talked to 3 different Amazon representative one of them dared to tell me" I cannot tell you why your monitor have not shipped", after they got it out of the warehouse it only took 4 days to get to my hands. Also it's missing the sleve that is stated on the description, I don't know if my unit is defective but the speakers sound at max volume like half the volume up my son smart watch I could barely hear anything at all. You will definitely need headphones or external speakers. They good, the size of the screen perfect for my mobile setup it includes every single cable you could need I have tried so far PS4 and Nintendo Switch and they both work nice. Conclusion, my only disappointment with this Buy is that it didn't came with the sleve bag and that two-week Hold at Amazon warehouse, two friends of mine ordered the same monitor and they receive it in 4 days from the day they ordered. If you are in for a portable monitor and you are going to use external speaker or headphones I do can recommend this one

Could be better
When connected to my laptop, all connects were connected correctly it would say no signal detected. Took a while but it finally connected. The HDMI port I believe to be defected, having trouble with that. When put to 165hz the background picture flickered like it couldn't handle it. Very thin and light weight but when pushed to its limits it wasnt having it. While gaming it work great for a while with my graphics card and the graphics were amazing but again the signal from my laptop and to the monitor would cut out and distort at high GPU usage, not all the time but for gaming get another monitor. For regular use it works perfect. My laptops resolution screen looked better then the monitors.

Best Portable 1080p panel you can buy currently
I have this shoved into a pelican case with my formd T1 and all my peripherals for a gaming/editing rig I can take anywhere for work. The panel itself is super accurate as far as colors and have been able to do some light photo editing while on a deployment or detachment for the military. The display is GSync capable and can be overclocked to 165hz and allows for smooth 1080p gameplay. My only complaints I have about this monitor are minor. The stand can be a pain to set up on some surfaces and may need extra support in the back. The power brick tends to slide out of the socket with any small vibration. If the company were to release a 1440p panel with the same specs and a display port input I would buy it in a heartbeat.

Good, but not delivering on key features
G-SYNC does not work properly, despite enabling support for it in NVIDIA control panel. It stutters and skips quite a bit.The panel is advertised as 165hz capable, but setting it to this results in dropped frames. It will literally skip frames and this can be easily noticed in games and just by moving your mouse in a quick, circular motion on the desktop. You'll see the mouse disappears while doing this. 144hz works fine though and doesn't skip/drop frames. My sample has 2, pink lines that are visible on a lighter (mostly white) background. I was offered a $30 discount because of this, but honestly for this price, this type of issue shouldn't be there - period.Would consider exchanging if these are all just issues with mine unit specifically. If they are widespread, I would avoid this monitor assuming you're looking to get G-SYNC and high refresh rates working correctly.

Product arrived fine but have since noticed 4 dead pixels.

Size is important
There are a few 15" screens around for much less, but I work all day writing software on a screen and want the bigger screen to to needing to pan to areas immediately. I also don't want to turn my lounge completely into an office, so wanted something that could fold away, but also not cause eye strain when working from home. I got this monitor, and it's awesome. And is the only thing that has ever made me immediately do a review. Build quality is good, it does what it says on the tin, just works. and has a rock solid picture. Can't really say much more about a monitor than it does what it should, and does it very well, and has portability and folds away. Awesome bit of kit.

Easy to set up and works. 10/10
Confirmed 165fps, just plugged two USB C cables in - One to my PC GPU and one to the Motherboard for power and works well. had to go into NVIDIA Control Panel and select 165hz and the monitor automatically adjusts.Monitor is sturdy and sleek, the monitor stand is also the screen's cover. A bit on the flimsy side to protect the screen from any objects pressing against it for transport so will just put a thin hard sheet of plastic on top so nothing presses on it.Speakers are better than expected, not that great but for gaming if you don't have external headphones or speakers, they work.Comes with a remote (and AAA batteries) but not necessary as the screen has a multi-function button on the side hidden away to access all of the menus.Good colours and picture. No Dead Pixels.Box comes with 2 x USB C - USB C Cables, 1x USB C - USB A Cable, 1 x HDMI - Mini-HDMI Cable, 1 x Micro-USB - USB A Converter, an AC/DC Adapter that goes into an EU socket that takes a USB C male connector, and a EU to UK travel plug.Has everything I needed and more. Will update after a few months of use if any changes. At the time of writing this review, this is the first for this item. However this 17.3" monitor seems very similar to the 15.6" version so have a look there if you have any questions. So far, I recommend this.

High price for bad product, don't recomend to buy.
hdr is not working, you can turn it on but it will make the picture look worse. no 165hz mode. There are some uneven highlights on the monitor which are made my gaming experience worse.
