Almo Nature Soft Texture Cat Litter 10 lbs - Plant-Based, Clumping, Biodegradable, Non-Toxic, Compostable, Eco-Friendly, Odor Control, Low Dust, Safe for Cats & Kittens

I have tried regular clumping cat litter and didn't like the amount of dust that was created when I scooped the box, so I gave corn cob litter a try. I tried 2 different corn cob litter brands, Arm & Hammer and Nature's Miracle. Both were better than the old school cat litter but there was something about corn cob litter that I wasn't 100% happy with, probably that they were both so heavily scented that it was nauseating. I decided to try Almo Nature when Amazon listed it as a suggestion. I'll preface my opinion about Almo Nature litter by saying, I have 1 cat and she uses a stainless steel litter box(so much better than a plastic litter box! I feel like the plastic held onto the smell of cat urine even after cleaning and scooping.) and I use a stainless steel scoop. This litter is lightweight, low dust and has no smell to it(it is completely inert smelling). The instructions say to scoop everyday to get the most longevity out of the litter, which is what I do anyway. This litter forms VERY tight clumps from urine, almost too tight lol! Since this litter is a natural product made from cassava, if you understand the characteristics of cassava, then you will understand why it is able to from such tight clumps. Cassava is consumed in many countries around the world and is a main dietary staple for many cultures. When cooked, cassava root is very starchy, sticky and can become rubbery. The clumps formed by this litter were extremely tight and tend to stick to the bottom of my litter box, which I am fine with, but just beware that the clumps can be a little on the sticky or rubbery side. As far as how the litter behaves with #2...it is able to absorb ALL odor and dehydrates the solid waste quickly and efficiently. The litter doesn't seem to track or stick to my cats paws as much as other litters, yes, there is a little tracking and if you are looking for a product that 100% doesn't track then you will probably be on a forever, endless search! As far as odor control, I feel that this product was able to control and absorb odors WAY better than anything else I have tried, plus as I previously mentioned, the litter itself is completely odorless. That was one of the biggest turnoffs for me with the corn cob litters I tried, the heavy fragrances were nauseating, and then add the odors from #1 and #2....it was the worst combination of fake, heavily fragranced poop. I am very pleased with this litter so far, it has completely exceeded my expectations and will continue to purchase it!

Kitty has no issues with litter. It does track but I’ve yet to find one that doesn’t. Odor control is excellent if scooping regularly, just like any other litter. Clumps well for urine. Purchased many times, don’t plan on switching anytime soon.

This litter is probably the best I've tried so far. I've tried clay, pellets, then this. This literally just smells like oatmeal (weird, but it smells better than cat pee) and it's super easy to scoop since it clumps extremely well. Lasts a while as well, I top it off maybe every two weeks but I have only one cat

BEWARE USING IN HUMIDITY!!! While this is natural and general good it has a VERY FINE DUST that when used in humid conditions can get into your cat’s sinuses and respiratory tract. I am dealing with his now after months of my cat having a low level sinus irritation and lung inflammation! You have to really check this. Every time she came out of using the litter box she had super fine dust all over her face, legs and paws. She is a digger, with her head down, and she is breathing all of this fine dust and starch in, which when it hits her moist airways, guess what it does?!?!?! Clumps in her sinuses and respiratory tract. Because of this, I can no longer recommend ANY OF THE FINE CASSAVA-type litter. Please please check this!! At the least add an air purifier to the cat box area. I am changing altogether. I hope she can get better.

The only litter my cat likes to use, she's long haired with asthma and it hardly has any dust. The only problem is the litter tracks everywhere. So prepare to vacuum a lot.

Almost exactly the same as the more expensive “Sustainably Yours” litter. I definitely prefer the Almo texture over all the different litters I’ve tried over the past 14 years! I’ve never noticed any odors or dust. It’s easy to scoop and it doesn’t get caught inside my cat’s paw pads. I’m so relieved to not be trying out new litters all the time. We’re a 2 bag a month Almo subscriber!

Yes great w odor blocking and clumping and dehydrating poo I mix it with romod brand tofu 5 in 1 and it tracks way less now too I have 9 cats you can’t tell I have any you can even wash your box and put left over litter back in if you’re still waiting on next shipment bc it holds no smell only the box itself does after weeks but I scoop two to three times a day faithfully and the combo is great in my auto boxes and regular boxes both yes I will continue to buy and recommend you do too yay almo

Horrible!! Something is wrong! Too dusty. Scatters everywhere. Bounces like tiny little beads. I am not kidding, it literally bounces up and gets inside your shoes. Really hard to sweep or vacuum it up. Worst of all, after switching to this litter, my cat started getting sick for the first time ever with asthma attacks, lots of mucus congestion and bronchitis. She is suffering. I am shocked because we used Almo Nature litter in the past and it was fine. It was always a little dusty, but never like this. The dust leaves a very fine powdery coating in places you would never expect to find it. My cats all have this dust in their fur and it feels gross. The litter itself also scatters everywhere. My largest cat with big feet brings it into the bed. When I dumped a box the inside was completely coated in dust that had settled to the bottom. Maybe I got a bad batch, but I ordered 5 bags from Amazon and 3 from another company. I used to recommend this litter to other people, now I am horrified that it has changed so much and it might make anyone else's cat sick. I am also suffering from the dust, as I have MCAS, lung problems and terrible sinus headaches. I am dumping all of this and switching back to the litter that is safer for us (olive pit litter) which is not perfect, but at least did not give me headaches or make my cat sick. Waste of money.

元々はシステムトイレの砂(針葉樹製)を使用していました。 しかし、うちの猫ちゃんは砂を転がして遊ぶわ肉球に挟まった砂を食べるわで、トイレの際には目を離せませんでした。 遊び対策として鉱物系の細かい砂に変えようかと考えましたが、ごみ捨ての不便さや、万が一誤飲してしまったらどうしよう……と考えると、なかなか他の砂にも変えられませんでした。 そんな中で出会ったのがアルモネイチャーの砂でした。 値段は他の砂に比べとても高い商品ですが、このお金で猫ちゃんの安全を買えるのなら……との思いで購入してみました。 結果として、うちの猫ちゃんにはぴったりだったようで、遊びも誤飲もなくなりました。 (最初の数日だけ食べていましたが、この砂は食べても安心とのことだったのでとりあえず見守っていました。数日すると食べなくなりました) あえてデメリットを挙げるとすれば、 ・猫ちゃんの足裏に砂が付くので、部屋に砂が散る ・猫ちゃんがブツをきれいに隠すと、目視できず臭いにも気付きにくいので、見逃すことがたまにある くらいですが、メリットが他の何者にも代えられないものなので、今後も購入し続けたいと思います。

Das Streu ist richtig angenehm, weil es sehr fein und sandähnlich ist. Unsere Katzen nehmen es super an. Es klumpt sehr gut, lässt sich dadurch einfach reinigen und ist auch geruchstechnisch wirklich angenehm. Für mich ein sehr gutes, katzenfreundliches Katzenstreu.

Ho acquistato la lettiera Almo Nature dopo aver provato diverse alternative, e posso dire con certezza che è una delle migliori lettiere che abbia mai usato. Massima assorbenza – La capacità di assorbire i liquidi è eccezionale. Si compatta bene e facilita la rimozione dei grumi senza lasciare residui nella vaschetta. Consiglio: usare del bicarbonato per ricoprire il fondo della vaschetta prima di riempirla, per evitare che i liquidi si attacchino sul fondo (difficili da rimuovere) Controllo degli odori eccellente – Non c'è bisogno di deodoranti aggiuntivi: la lettiera trattiene gli odori in modo naturale, mantenendo l’ambiente pulito e senza cattivi odori. Utile soprattutto in estate e in case che ospitano più gatti Naturale ed ecologica – Realizzata con materiali vegetali, è biodegradabile e può essere smaltita nel compost o nel WC (in piccole quantità). Perfetta per chi cerca un prodotto sostenibile! Consiglio: non gettare troppa lettiera tutta insieme nel WC, ma alternare WC alla spazzatura Delicata sulle zampe – I miei gatti la usano volentieri, il che mi fa capire che la texture è confortevole per loro. Durata – Un sacco dura più a lungo rispetto ad altre lettiere, poiché si spreca meno materiale nella pulizia quotidiana. Consiglio: usare con lettiere chiuse e usare un tappetino all'uscita della lettiera, perché i residui si spargono molto facilmente per casa. Rispetto ad altre lettiere biodegradabili, è sicuramente un prodotto superiore. Non la cambierò

With several cats a good litter is essential for good cat's behave and efficient maintenance. This is the third day, cats love it. Stays clean, easy to scoop. Will see how long it will stay. So far the impression is very good.

La meilleure litière sable. Pas de poussière et surtout : l'odeur de pâte à sel (odeur ultra naturelle, pas du tout appuyée, pas du tout écoeurante comme toutes ces litières parfumées dégoutantes) reste longtemps présente. La litière ne pue pas dès les premiers pipi/caca du chat comme dans 99% des cas pour les autres litières dont je ne supporte pas l'odeur et ça dès les premiers usages. Nettoyée tous les jours, la litière dure 2 mois sans aucune odeur.
