Good price and as clear as glass but without the safety issues. Comes with a film on both sides to protect it from scratches until you are ready. Perfect for replacing the glass in a clock and in a picture frame. Easy to cut with a Stanley type knife.

These are the perfect size for what we needed. We've used them to make little travel games with, but they could be used for so many different things. They are a good thickness, not too thick, but don't seem to be easily breakable.

Better than glass

Haven’t used it to paint yet, but it is a sturdy, quality acrylic sheet. It doesn’t come with proper instructions, so be sure to peel off protective film from BOTH sides of the sheet, which I didn’t do originally.

I decided to try this acrylic option over glass given it was a little less expensive, and let's face it, we're replacing broken glass after all. Acrylic won't shatter. I mounted both a framed photo and frameless photo with these, in 8x10, and my initial thoughts are favourable. I did notice that the metal clips on the frameless mount made small damage to the acrylic surface when I had to remove the clips to adjust them, so glass is superior in that regard, being much harder, but if you're careful and don't plan to repeatedly change photos these sheets are still doable, just take care. I'm guessing they would scratch just as easily. Overall I'm pleased however and would try them again. I have broken soo many glass inserts over the years. My final word of advice is to take care not to let the brown film that covers the sheets come into contact with your photos, I immediately destroyed an 8x10 print in doing so. It sticks like glue to photos.

Glasklare Platten, mit Cutter leicht zu schneiden, Produkt so wie beschrieben. Als Hinweis für Besteller, die Platten sind beidseitig mit einer Schutzfolie versehen, wenn man diese abzieht erscheint die glasklare Platte, der ein oder andere Käufer hatte da wohl Probleme. Langzeiterfahrung steht noch aus.
