Okay.... So.... The saying goes, don't judge a book by its cover.... I opened this tape, and started to use it on the thing I needed to stick to a metal ceiling. I was a little bit skeptical when I was feeling the adhesive in my fingers... It seemed really really weak. But. HOmaGAWD. After application I don't see this stuff falling off ANY surface. Seriously. This tape has a bit of a smell to it, like PVC Piping Dope Solution, but dannnnng, whatever is in the adhesive does make it stick well! We shall see if I grow some new fingers in a few months after touching. But I'm sure it's just fine. The smell goes away quickly. Like fresh cut grass! (Seriously though, this stuff is totally safe to touch. I would not reccomend it as a snack though) Seems to hold up in Hot or Cold environments like a champion. Although I would probably reccomend the surface is at room temp when applying, but it probably doesn't matter. Just make sure the surface is relatively clean and dry. Pretty standard practice I think. I gave 2 stars for "Ease of Remove" but in this instance, that's a very good thing. Chances are, if your using this, you are adhearing something you don't really want to have come off easily In the first place. It may leave some residue if there for a long time, but I'm sure some basic cleaner or GooGone would do the trick just fine. If you try to remove it, it stretches out an becomes unusable, so use care when applying it. Seriously Great product! Best quality purchase in a good while. Cheers to you!!!!!!!!!!

Used to put up led strip lights on bedroom walls. I strongly suggest that you first clean the areas where the tape will be installed, which we did. Then we put up the tape, pressing down as you go, then installed the strip lights on the tape, with the backings removed on the tape and the lights. 4 days later all is still secure and holding well. Very pleased with the results where other strip lights adhesive never holds on its own and always starts falling down in a few days if not immediately. Make sure the product has 3M adhesive as this one did!

If you want something that sticks, and sticks permanently!, this is what you want. I accidently put a plastic placard in the wrong spot using this tape and it took forever to get it off, ended up having to use dental floss to "saw" it and copious quantities of goo-gone to remove all the adhesive.

As you can tell from many of the reviews, it is a little difficult to pull off the plastic backing from this double-sided tape. The method I figured out was to lay down the strip of tape on one of the surfaces. Then, to lightly score the plastic backing with a utility knife and use the blade to pull up an edge. Once you have enough of an edge, you can grab the plastic with your fingers and pull it off. The tape has a good amount of stickiness once the adhesive has had time to cure. I was able to apply it to metal, roll on foil insulation and then pull up on the insulation to move it a little bit. You cannot do that once the tape has had time to cure. I did notice that it did not stick well to cold metal. It does cure better when it's warmer. A hair dryer might work to warm the surface(s) before you apply the tape.

This double-sided tape is no joke! I’ve used it for everything from mounting picture frames to sticking LED lights in my car, and it hasn’t failed once. The adhesive is super strong, even on textured walls, and it’s held up well in both indoor and outdoor conditions. Plus, the 100FT roll lasts a long time. Un bon produit 3M

Can't beat a 3M product, this worked great for attaching some radiant barrier on the inside of my metal shed to hopefully prevent it from turning into a sauna in the summer

Tape itself is fantastic. It sticks really well. I used it on double sided aluminum insulation for my garage door. It was close to freezing level when I did and tape stayed sticked to door no problem. The fighting comes when it s time to peel off the top part. I used tweezers and was still fighting to peel off the top part.

Real 3M tape and super sticky. I used it to attach a side skirt on my car and an emblem to the trunk. Worked great. Watch out as some vendors state the product is 3M but the picture shows it is another manufacturer.
