Bats (New & Updated Edition)

Fantastic and informative like all Gail Gibbons books. I think her whole catalog should be required reading, all her books teach kids more than most adults know about a vast array of subjects.

Very informative and interesting for kids who want an intro to spiders. Illustrated, rather than actual images, so bear that in mind, but nicely done. Providing some photos of some of the pages. My child enjoyed this thoroughly.

Read it today with a 4 year old who chose it as the book to read at bedtime. He loved every page and asked a lot of questions. I shortened some pages because the text is for older kids. I think its a great book about spiders and was impressed they showed so many types of webs. We just did a trunk or treat with bats and spiders in it because I am a science teacher who loves all of nature... so this was the perfect book choice this week.

Author Gail Gibbons always creates great books. I highly recommend!
