Took a few minutes for all the drivers to settle down and work.
I got this particular maker since it was rated as being very compatible. And after waiting a few minutes for Windows 11 to correctly load up all the drivers for Com3 to appear; it does indeed work without fail. Nice clean signaling and now works without fail. Sure, I may make a mistake; but at least I don't have to worry about the communication.

No drama, works perfect
Even without installing the included drivers on disk, this device was detected by my computer, drivers installed and worked perfect immediately. Love the fact it has a long USB cord attached so I don't have to worry about stresses from a device getting bumped at my port. Also love the fact this unit has both screw down terminals as well as a DB9 connector, adding to its versatility. The com lights on it to let me know anything is happening are nice and bright too. Couldn't really ask for more in an adapter of this kind.

Worked and saved me money
I used this to connect to a vision scanner at work. The manufacture sold a cable that was around $300. So I figured I’d give this a shot. Very easy to connect and good instructions. Only quality issue I noticed was the circuit board is exposed. So, using this in the elements may be a problem. I personally keep this in my office and only bring it out when I need it.

Works without trouble
These usb to serial converters are often finicky. This one just worked immediately. Nice.

Good Adapter For The Price
I used this product to interface with a Spectrum (Omneon) video server over VDCP/Louth (RS-422 full duplex) without issue. The unit was easy to setup (install drivers from the included CD, connect the cable), and the pin-out is straightforward. The top 5 pins (left-to-right) are Ground, RX-, RX+, Tx-, TX+. I would definitely buy another.

Does not receive in RS485
This device appears to only transmit using the RS485 protocol, not receive, by design. You cannot use it to receive transmitted RS485 from a controller to view the output from the controller on a PC screen. If I'm wrong, then my unit is defective.

Works as expected
Used for RS-485 with the included db9 breakout board. The tx/rx lights are a little tricky - don't look obliquely.
