Good value for money, fast delivery, however don’t expect anything to happen by just purchasing them, apparently you have to lift with them and stuff to get any body tone or muscle, I wouldn’t have purchased if I’d known, make an ok door stop though.

I am new to dumbbells so went for the 2kg weight and I am very pleased, not too heavy but seem to be making a difference to my body shape, I am a 70 year old female and wanted to get stronger and fitter so that I can remain independent and not have to ask for help with some of the heavier jobs around the house and garden. Must admit that I am getting a bit addicted to using them but that can't be a bad thing.

You could boil them up and try to eat them. Or manage you time and spend 20 minutes every couple of hours working the biceps and forearms whilst watching the tele or counting the Gold Fish or reading a book or sitting on the loo. Then by stretching them out in front of you for 20 seconds and then to shoulder height both left and right for 20 seconds then as high as they will go for 20 seconds the lactic acid will drain away and your golfing partner will be very impressed with how far you can suddenly hit a golf ball to. I'm a female beginner trying to get into doing some weight training at home using youtube videos. I wasn't sure what weight to go for so writing this review to say that the 2kg weights that I picked are working really well. They are just heavy enough to make the workout feel like it is doing something, but not so heavy that I give up on the whole enterprise because it is too hard! I would definitely say these are a good pick if you are a girl just starting out.In terms of the product, they feel very high quality for the price. They look good and are a comfortable size for my hands. No complaints.

I have bought two sets of these in 2x5kg and 2x2kg and I think they are the best dumbbells that I have bought yet. Their shape means that you can do things like Plank Rows or Plank & Push Ups whilst being on them and they don't roll out from under you. The covering on them is anti-slip so where I was needing to wear finger-less gloves before to have a better grip on the traditional metal or plastic coated bells, I don't have to with these. I have had issues in the past where over time, where the ball (rounded part) meets the bar (the short rod in the middle), the weights have started to split apart as they were made with a filled concrete method but these are completely solid. Very happy with these and would recommend.

I am a slightly built septogenarian female who is quite 'cardio' fit but would like to tone up and build strength. I have just started to do weight training and wanted dumbells to use at home between gym sessions. I chose 3kg as, for me, they gave me some weight to 'work with' but not too heavy to use at this stage. They feel more comfortable to hold than the metal ones in the gym and the shape means they don't roll around when you put them down, or if you use them for press-up supports. Re other reviewer's concerns over the accuracy of the weight; I put mine on the kitchen scales and they were 'spot on'.

I got a pair of the 5kg dumbbell's to have as a warm up set before my workout. So I have now used them for a few workouts now and have to say they do the job well. The quality of them of the dumbbell's was great, not once when using them did I feel like they uncomfortable or would be easily dropped.The weight of the dumbbell's was well distributed and felt great in the hands. Overall this was a great buy that does the job well. I would defiantly recommend buying this if you are looking for a light and and comfortable weight.

These dumbbells have a really nice feel / really comfortable grip. Great colour and photo is accurate representation for the 3kg I purchased. I've found previously that other cheaper brands have an unpleasant plastic smell and/or the grip can feel uncomfortable or sticky. These are definitely much better quality, comfortable to use, no strong toxic plastic smell and I would definitely recommend them
