As advertised, these bench dogs fit snug and hold items securely. I've tried using them as risers for cutting as well and I have found that a bench clamp is good to have to keep pieces from moving. All in all a good purchase that won't break the bank!

Work well except the rubber pads fall of all the time

Nothing fancy pants here but they are great to have around. They fit all existing holes in my bench and are really handy when I need a quick holder in another board or on my portable tables or sawhorses. Just pop a hole where needed and off you go. I keep a few in the shop, and a few in the travel bag. If you have a workshop, need a stop to keep your work stable, these are perfect - all at a great price. Even though they are plastic, I have no fear they'll outlast me.
