GerberBaby Boys' 2-Pack Sleep N Play

Thin material, perfect for spring and summer
These are great sleepers for my baby. Whoever invented snaps is my least favorite person in the middle of the night when I have to change a diaper. After the first month after my son was born I completely stopped buying any sleepers with snaps. Zippers are the only way! And these from gerber are perfect. The fabric is very thin, which for our situation is perfect because we live in San Diego and it’s spring now. So it’s hot a lot and we don’t have AC. However, if it was winter and we lived somewhere else, I wouldn’t recommend these. They are true to size and look just like the stock photo. I am docking a star because honestly they aren’t that cute compared to a lot of sleepers and I think that gerber should put more effort into the designs on the fabric.Overall these are a great deal and always a “go to” outfit for our baby.Every time I purchase something online, I always check the reviews. I count on others to help me choose the best option. My reviews are always my honest opinion and I try to include photos if possible. If my review has helped you in any way, please click the "helpful" button below so that I know! Cute but kind of small
My son is 2.5 months and 14 pounds. I don't think he's going to be able to wear this 3-6month set for more another month or so. These are also not as thick as I would've liked them to be. They're not paper thin but I definitely wouldn't let him wear this without some sorry or cover or additional heat in the bedroom.UPDATE:after just 3 washes the colors are fading pretty bad and starting to look quite fuzzy. Also, the animals iron ons washed off too. I wouldn’t be against using these again if gifted but I won’t be being anymore. I a different brand of pjs from Ross that are holding up better than this and actually fit like a 3-6month outfit should. I tried to take a pic of the fading but my camera didn’t do a great job of showing it.

Not the smallest, not the largest
I got two different Gerber baby newborn sleepers. This one runs much larger than the other I bought, it is much longer. Would be wonderful for some, but I feel it is closer to the 0-3M size than it is a newborn size. My baby is really small and this is long him.See the pictures posted. On the left is another gerber sleeper in newborn that fits better, the center is this sleeper I am reviewing here, and the one on the right is a 0-3M gerber sleeper.

Super-sized me!
I purchased these sleep n play PJ's with the thought that 0-3 months would work for my newborn. They arrived today and both sleepers are three times the size of my 3 mo. sleepers. Super cute, but the 0-3 mo size is more like a 9 mo size, so I guess I'll be waiting to use these. When I held these up to my newborn, the legs extended about 8 inches past his body length. Oh well. Makes me wonder how big the larger sizes are.

Bad zipper
The yellow striped footed pajamas that I received got stuck on my baby (in the middle of the night while attempting to change his diaper). This led to me having to pull a stuck zipper down a few inches and shimmy the baby out the top. Not fun when you’re trying to keep a baby sleepy. Instead he was wide awake. Horrible zipper. I washed this upon arrival, he wore once and the zipper seemed to stick a little, but was ok. Second night it would zip up, but not back down. It was not caught in the fabric. This is my second child and I almost always used a different brand of footed pajamas. I decided to try Gerber and it was fine for a few other pairs, but this one shook my confidence.

Love one piece sleep and plays but not this set
For the first 6 months, I use sleep and plays as as often as possible. They are usually soft, light weight (so you can later if needed), and super easy. Two problems with these:1. Packaging: this brand uses double sided tape on the outfit to keep it in place during packaging. On another pattern by this brand we missed some of the tape accidentally before it got washed. To this day we still have a sticky mess on the front of the outfit. Once it went through the washer/dryer it was hopeless.2. The navy outfit uses some sort of iron on appliqué for the sports design - it is cheep, peels easily, and looks like I did it myself at home without much skill. I always wash it on low I side out and still have issues.I like other patterns by Gerber, but am disappointed with this navy one.Note: these are very thin. Good for summer and warm days but during colder weather we put socks on underneath plus a onesie and use blankets. If baby were outside in a baby carrier with legs/arms only covered by this, baby would be way too cold.

Truly terrific
I love these. My favorite of all the footie jumpers we got. They're light material, so if your kid is sleeping in cold climes, definitely put a shirt under or a blanket over. Very flexible, breathable material. Durable too. The fit is really good. They do hold up to multiple repeated washes. Some folks cautioned me against zip-front styles for fear of zipping his skin into it but I say I'd much rather take a brief second to zip carefully each time rather than struggle with snaps in the middle of the night, my goodness. Those nights his mom puts him in the snap-up jumpers are the worst. He generally wakes up twisted into unrecognizable shapes and somehow I'm to blame for attaching his knee to his armpit at 4am. No thank you. Get these instead, for sure. I liked them so much that when he outgrew the 0-3, I bought another set in 3-6. I may do the same for the next size up if the second ones are as good as the first.

Buy buy buy
We like our gerber products!! This pack of jammies were GREAT for the price we paid. I feel like I’ve washed them a million times already and they haven’t faded which is surprising with cotton. The only complaint I have is the zipper seems like it’s getting tough to zip, but my son has worn ALOT! Also, the arms seem short so not good for long armed babies..

Value for money
Slightly expensive but don’t mind paying extra for the quality. We love this for a baby and he seems happy with them too. Worth spending a bit extra for these.

Not worth the cost.
The material on the sleepers feels thin & cheap. I also think the arms on the sleepers could be a little longer. I am happy how they look when they are on they just feel like they are a poor quality sleeper.

Loved it
I loved it...just that the sleeves are not long enough..aside that I loved it and ordered again in different color

A great value
The design on these onesies is nice and they are a terrific value. I do find that the fabric isn't as soft or as stretchy as Carter's but there IS a price difference. The colours don't fade in the wash and the zipper seems sturdy enough. Because the fabric is stiff I find that my baby sized out of these quicker than order brands. They run a little small. Overall I'd buy them again.

Gran compra
