Accoutrements Bacon Lip Balm

I bought this for my 8 year old son because his lips get chapped too and he is tired of using all of the "stupid pink and purple lip balm" that me and his sisters all use. Plus he loves gag gifts, and especially loves bacon. He thinks its hilarious that I bought it for him despite me being a vegetarian myself since I was 9. I'm 31 now so you can only imagine how badly I miss the taste of bacon lol. im not vegan, so do use animal by products though. so depending on whether this tastes like bacon or not I may sneak a use here and there to remember the taste, haha but this definitely smells just like bacon. I'm also going to be buying my son the bacon bar of soap the next time he complains about the flower smelling body wash we have and maybe even the bacon toothpaste too. haha. bacon is his absolute favorite food. He would eat it all day every day, this is perfect for the bacon addict in your life.-- i wonder if people are getting differently made batches of this stuff because some reviewers say it doesnt smell like bacon, mine sure does, some say it doesn't taste like bacon but some say it does. Seems to be lack of quality control on this.

Gifted and son in law said smelled just like bacon , but didn't really taste like it which was good because he is apparently one of the few who doesn't like bacon. Oops lol

Great for a joke gift. But it is absolutely disgusting and was thrown away after opening it. And the flavor lingers, ugh

Do you like bacon? I mean do you REALLY like bacon? If you very much like bacon then I would get this. If you cooked some bacon and then left the grease in the pan cool off and then put that bacon grease into a lip balm tube then this is what you would get. It REALLY tastes like bacon and almost feels like bacon grease, THAT’S HOW MOISTURIZING this bacon lip balm is. The warmth of the lip balm makes me feel like I’ve just woken up to a big breakfast spread. It goes on sheer just as bacon grease would. But let me tell you this, it’s mot bacon grease!! It’s actually a lip balm but you would never know when you apply this. The flavor is 100% bacon flavor. If you love bacon, I mean really really love bacon then get this!!

Why didn't I read and head the reviews before paying too much for lip balm?? I was blinded by the bacon. Purchased for my daughter a bacon lover it is AWEFUL!! Someone said it had a chemical taste this is true. my daughter though it was like ambsol. Once you have put it on you CANT get rid of the horrible taste/smell. I only put it on my hand and had to go scrub it off. Also big warning it says that once open it is only good for 6 months so not like you can keep it around for april fools or to terrorize your friends with year after year. Right now my daughter chases my son around trying to put this aweful stuff on him. its being used as a weapon. If you hate your significant other or want them to stop bothering you then this is for you. Put some on and I am sure that will repel them for the night.

Not really a usable product unless you LOVE a smokey taste in your lips. Great as a gag gift but the price I paid was a little steep for a gift that can’t actually be used

Not worth the money

The feature that was not listed to review was the smell! The smell of this balm is exactly BACON!!!! I bought this as a gift for a friend who's motto through life is that bacon makes everything better. When she opened this and immediately swiped it across her lips she was delighted! Sure, it's moisturizing, sure, it's clear and makkes your lips look good, but WOW does it smell good! Enjoy!
