I used this to dye fabric that was a mix of nylon/lycra and spandex. This fabric can be difficult to dye so I also used Rit’s Color Fixative. I needed this exact color, not pastel, not neon, golden. I've used this dye before. Make sure you wear gloves or hands get stained. Works on cottons.

I wanted to color a cotton blanket, so, I put it in the washer, hot water wash, with soak cycle, dumped in the yellow dye, and walked away, when I returned, it was yellow.

Did one white cotton shirt; came out a stupendous, golden sunshine that same day, and wore it later that night.
