Good basic stone.
This is a solid stone to get any knife to a good working edge. "Working edge" being the key. Don't expect a 1000 grit to give you razor sharp hair popping edges, but this stone will get them pretty darn sharp... I use this one to get my edges sharp and profile quick, from standard stainless kitchen Knives to pocket knives made with premium super steels, this stone's medium side will reprofile most dings and such in a badly dulled blade, the fine side will get a good working edge on anything. Then with a nice sharp edge set, for shaving sharp edges I take them to a 2000/5000 water stone to polish them even finer...

Diamond Sharpening Stone
I was not sure how to rate this. It came with no instructions which is ok for what it is. But I wish it said "do not leave wet for long". I have been using it wet and not bothering to dry it off. Rust started to form. I was able to scrub most of it off but would have been nice to know. Mine did have 2 different grits as it was supposed to, so no complaints there. Other than rust it is functioning as expected.

As seen on YouTube!
I've seen many videos on it and it works great. Took my hand planer's blade and worked in just 5 minutes to a very acceptable sharp edge. I would have liked the manufacturer to give their own usage instructions to make my confidence go up just a little more. Even give various options for ways to use their own tool on various items. Knives, blades from different tools, and the sort.

Not worth the money
At first I thought this maybe a decent stone for the $50 mark. Man was I WRONG! Now I sharpen a lot of tools in my new hobby and I got tired of whetstone and the mess they require so I thought I’ll try this. It worked ok the first 2 dozen times but I noticed it got slower and slower. Now when I try to use it it takes me 15 minutes just to reset a 25 degree bevel on a plane iron! The stone has wore down to a fine on one side and a very fine one the other. It’s only been a month and 4 days. They say they have a lifetime no questions asked guarantee and I hope they contact me to make it rite, however I don’t know how to get a hold of them on amazon since the 30 days are up.

Very flat!
I bought this plate to flatten my Japanese Sharon stones. Works great!

Does not inspire confidence
Size is great but the quality does not inspire confidence. I bought this stone mostly for lapping and initial honing of chisel and plane blades as I use my Japanese stones and leather strop/compound for final sharpening/honing. The flatness of this stone is not great which is a problem for my intended use. Additionally, the diamond coating does not hold up well to tool steel. It did not take long for much of the "bite" to be lost, and the occasional small metal shaving from the tool gouged the surface of the stone. For comparison my coarse/fine DMT stone that I have had longer and used harder is in much better shape. This Ultra Sharp stone has essentially been relegated to rough lapping of my Japanese wet stones once they start to cup.

I have been using this since February and it works ...
I have been using this since February and it works well to set and sharpen an edge. So far it has stood up well and still sharpens chisels and plane irons well, though the coarse side has discolored a little bit, I am not sure if that is rust or something else.
