Best bipod for the money
I bought this for a high end fully automatic bb gun so I wasn't trying to spend a fortune on one , I researched them for a few days and this is what I decided was the biggest bang for my buck and I wasn't disappointed, it came with all the proper mounting hardware and was super easy to install. Everything functioned properly and I was also able to attach a strap to it . The legs swing out and at the push of a button , extend out automatically (spring loaded) very inexpensive but every bit as good as the high dollar ones , I put mine thru hell , the gun is long gone but this bipod is still in my shop drawer , awaiting my next gun purchase. So it's very durable and can take a beating . Highly recommend this item

Absolutely worth the money!
I’ve been shooting for well over twenty years as a civilian, in the US Marines, and as a police officer. I’ve pretty much always used Harris bipods but I decided to do a budget rimfire build and figured I’d give this thing a shot. It didn’t disappoint. I was skeptical but I read the reviews and figured, “Why not? It’s only $20.” I got it and immediately mounted it to the rifle (direct mounted to the rifle’s sling swivel stud) and was amazed at how solid it felt for best I paid. I deployed the legs and then raised them and was pleased to find that there was just the right amount of resistance and they popped back up with ease too. I then set it down and noticed really the only problem. The rifle was canted to the right. A little pressure and a twist to the left though bent it into place perfectly though (this is why I gave it four stars on “Easy to install” and overall). The only other issue I have with it is one that I can’t knock the product for since to me this is more of a preference issue than it is an issue with the product itself and that’s the way the legs extend. I’m used to legs that are return to the collapsed position by pressing a button but these are the opposite. These are spring loaded. A quick push and release of the button will extend the the leg to its fully locked out position. If you push and hold the button it will extend the leg and it will recoil at the limit of its travel and then you can lock it into whichever notch you prefer. Again, this is a matter of preference for me and merely informational for those of you reading this. I prefer a low shooting position and this is going on a rifle that will never see more than a 10 round magazine so it will probably be rare that I even extend the legs. If you’re shooting it on a center fire with a large capacity magazine then you may actually prefer the method that this particular bipod employs. Overall, if you’re on a budget and want a good bipod I don’t thing you’ll be disappointed with this product.Side note: I did not use the QD stud that comes with this bipod so I can’t comment on its reliability, stability, or long term ruggedness but out of the box it feels pretty solid.

Useful bipod-tytpe rifle stabilizer
Simple bipod rifle rest that attaches to standard Harris type mount. One of many choices, which seems as good a choice as any of the other inexpensive front bipod rifle stabilizers. The legs are long enough to raise the rifle to a reasonable firing level if used on a typical bench, and steady enough at that height to improve on the stability of your aim. One thing to consider, IF you are using this with a typical AR-15 kind of rifle, and a 30-round magazine, your rifle will not sit steady unsupported, because of the length of the magazine, and will likely tip over. It will work OK with a shorter 10-round magazine, with the third contact point with the table being the butt of the rifle stock, not the bottom of the magazine; some 20-round magazines also. If you put the stock on your shoulder and hold the rifle basically level, then there is enough clearance height from the table to not interfere with a 30-round magazine. If your shooting table is a lower height type, then you might want to consider a taller bipod than this one, to bring the rifle up to a more comfortable shooting position. This bipod is lightweight in construction, but does weigh enough to be noticeable if you are holding the rifle in both arms and not actually using the bipod to support the rifle. You might want to use it only for target shooting at a bench, and use the "somewhat" quick-detach feature to remove it from the front of your rifle to lighten the cantilevered weight out front, to make it easier to hold the rifle for standard hunting position shoulder shooting. There is enough flexibility in the Harris type mount that you can move the aim of the rifle around within reason without having to lift it off the table to reposition it, but it still offers enough steadying action to permit you to zero in on your target to adjust your sights or scope; useful, but not rock-solid like a three-point heavy-weight zeroing platform that cradles the entire rifle like an iron fist. Think of it as a casual accessory most useful in shooting and zeroing at a range or from a prone position on the ground.
