Excellent product. Does what it says on the tin. Robust, super bright and strong magnets. Only downfall is each one requires 3 batteries. But if you invest in rechargeables, worth every penny. Great for camping, roadside lighting, recovery etc.

Thought they were ace brought for my husband he works for the RAC and I just wanted him to have more flashing lights at night he loves them,magnetic so sticks to his van and nice and bright if he’s on the motorway would recommend x

These road flares I had seen advertised in other places but was unsure, the I bought from this seller are exactly as described and a very good price and and are very thick to withstand any but a road roller going over them very well pleased I shall be buying another set for my wife’s car

This is a great product, but when re-screwing the battery cover on the compartment compartment, ensure the cover is the right way around - it's not symmetrical, even though it appears so. Ensure the holes for the screws line up with the holes in the bigger section of the product AND that it fits right. If it doesn't seem to fit right, turn the battery cover clockwise a half turn - 180 degrees - so that the holes are lining up again but now what was the bottom hole is lined up with the top hole and vice versa. Everything should fit properly then, then screw in the screws. In other words, if the handle is facing this way < and the battery cover doesn't seem to fit properly then turn it 180 degrees so it faces this way > The product feels very sturdy and the instructions are clear enough - plus you get 4 of the flares, whereas another similar product offered 3 for not much cheaper. The orange lights are bright enough to notice even in a brightly lit room. The white light is bright, although probably not as bright as one of those really powerful torches an old teacher who loved gorge walking used when I was a child - the kind that seem to travel for miles and over hills. But it seems bright enough. I haven't given 5 stars because the SOS light could be a little confusing initially, as when it first starts, it cycles through ... ... --- ... before going to just regular ... --- ... - that is, it does the first S twice initially before repeating SOS regularly - and the instructions don't make it clear about the position of the battery compartment, which is, I suspect, why these don't seem rainproof for some people. This is just personal preference but I suggest JCB brand batteries - the products take 3 AAA in each - as I've previously had their AA batteries in a simulated fireplace with simulated fire for about 3 days, 24 hours a day, before they started fizzling out and eventually conked out. The battery compartment uses screws, but if it didn't, I highly doubt this would be rainproof. Very strong magnet. In the UK, these would only be legal on certain vehicles in certain circumstances as per the Road Vehicle Lighting Regulations 1989, but you MAY be able to get around that by not using the magnet - then they're not "fitted" to your vehicle, in my personal opinion as a non-lawyer :) Personally, considering not-so-smart motorways with no hard shoulder and drivers who can drive for up to a year in the UK with no UK licence, having passed their test in a country with a much easier test (e.g. USA, India, etc.), I'd rather risk using these for extra visibility than risk being rear-ended by someone whose driving test consisted of driving for five minutes around a circuit - never mind the UK drivers who drive like idiots. I'm not sure if these actually comply with the rules for mobility scooters, as the Road Vehicles Lighting Regulations 1989 refer to vehicles but its has been established that a mobility scooter is not a vehicle (there was an attempt to prosecute someone for being a drunk driver on one, but the laws referred to vehicles so couldn't be used, so the cops had to dig out a really old law about carriages - Licensing Act 1872). But it's sensible to use am amber flashing light anyway while using the road on a road legal class 3 mobility scooter, which may be too large to be able to be used on a train. So in short, these are very good, they're easily visible, may not meet all regulations but you may be able to get around some, and the instructions could have some information about the position of the battery cover but the instructions are generally clear.

Broke down the other day and these came in handy the material is amazing and works really well at night. One got ran over but looks the same and works the same.

Excellent product that just require batteries, they appear very sturdy and in my opinion every x CAA AR should carry these in their boot 👍
