Vintage Bronze Metal Birdcage Set

I use these for home decor displays for everything from outdoor displays on my porch to indoor displays on my fireplace. I fill them with Christmas ornaments in December, gourds in October/November, and Easter eggs in the spring. The cages are bronze in color and look very antique with beautiful details. I love the "feet" that keep the bottoms of the cages off the ground. They are well-made with opening tops (which split the cages in half "hamburger"/horizontal style) and small functioning doors. I appreciate that the top opens too, rather than just the tiny door, so you can really get in there to arrange your decor. Both have a hook on top for hanging if desired. The two sizes compliment each other nicely. They have held up great after many seasons, most of them outdoors in the elements, and they still look like new. Highly recommend!

I wasn't sure about this purchase--it seemed pricey, especially since birdcages are everywhere right now, but I fell in love with the color and detail of these in particular. Be aware that the big one is big, or at least much bigger than I imagined. However, I use both of mine as center pieces in my living/dinning room. I filled the big one with paper butterflies cut out of pages from old text books with tea lights in the background. They are both very decorative and durable so far. Everyone comments on them. The top opens, so you can also use them to hold flowers, too or hang them from the ceiling.

I bought these as decorative items. I had only wanted one - the bigger one, which is now hanging from a ceiling hook in a room that doesn't get enough sunlight for a plant to thrive. I had been contemplating what I could hang there as room décor, and had the idea for an antique-style bird cage. The second smaller cage was a bonus (couldn't buy just the one), and I have filled that with potpourri and placed it on a shelf in my living room. They both make lovely additions to my home. Beautiful coloring and craftsmanship. I did not buy these to hold birds, and I'm not sure that's a good idea. I think they're both a little small for that.

I love the details of these cages. They are a good size and open from the top to allow easy decorating. I ordered the bronze expecting them to be ... Well.... Bronze. They are definitely black. I guess you could call them distressed black if you wanted to be generous. I do like the shape enough that I will keep them and probably paint Rub n'Buff on them to get the metallic color I wanted.

The birdcage is beautiful but neither of the cages in my set had a door as the item description and photos on Amazon describe. I was planning to hang it over a coffee corner and fill it with coffee pods but obviously can’t do that since these cages only open from the top. It is very pretty but I purchased it specifically to not take up counter space and am disappointed that it wasn’t as described.

I bought these for a banquet. We decorated them with birds and florals. Very, very pretty. Would buy these again and again.

I ordered the BRONZE "Deco Metal Bird Cage" and what I received was a completely different product. The cages I received were cream, and a totally different pattern than the one pictured. The quality was also very low, bad paint job and the hinges for the doors barely worked.

just pictured- beautiful with candles, flowers hanging, sitting- not for live birds- I plan to put battery operated flickering, candles in mine with wisteria draped- hang in in my guest bath- and bed room--add some spray fragrance- a warm welcoming for guest-- would love several more for my enclosed porch-- nicely crafted- quality materials- nice color-

Very good quality, just love them. I spray painted them black and they are great.

The large cage's top cap is welded on way off to one side, looks ridiculous. There's also a hole in the metal beside a really bad weld. How this got past QC is a mystery. They were on sale but not advertised as defective!!
