I was a bit skeptical. I'm not anymore.The construction is good enough that I know they will last for years. It has two springs. You can use one or two springs. Each spring has a different strength so you have three possible settings.When I fish I wonder off. I mess around with a cane pole or a lure. I just don't stay within arm reach of my pole.So I've taken them out twice. And they work like a charm. Out of 17 activations of the trigger only two didn't set the hook in the fish.I'm ordering 4 more. Our state has a three pole limit so my wife and I can each have a set.

Right off the bat...I caught my first five trouts the first days I used it lake fishing for stock trouts using Powerbait on a Carolina rig.

It works very well, very seldom misses a fish but the trigger should be easier to pull..takes a lot to set it off... should catch the fish on the first tug...takes several hard pull to get the trigger to release. But I still like it.

Double springs made the sensitivity a bit more stuff which works well with larger fish like strippers and carp ect.. verses the single spring which work's well with smaller fish. Product was well put together, easy to use, fun and enjoyable.

It's good for smaller fish but I'm afraid it's not going to hold catfish that I often catch may need another spring

The springs are so strong that when the bite occurs and the line trips the trigger mechanisim the hook an bait get yanked from the fish's mouth and you lose the fish..

The product is great. I went fishing for 4 hours and got 5 fishs in 12 bites. Love it and highly recommend.
