ChaCha Kyusu "Zen" Tea Pot, 450ml

I liked the smaller size so much that I immediately ordered this larger one as well. Although this is glass, it's a durable glass that you can feel the difference in right away. Leave it to Hario to make great products! The lid is thick and sturdy vs the ultra thin version I have on a different brand teapot. The inner basket is so nice and large that it's just perfect for loose tea. If my tea is in a sachet, I cut the sachet open and pour the tea into the basket anyway because I like to see good quality tea leaves open for full flavor. I'm currently on a Yunnan Golden Tips black tea kick and I really get a full cup of taste. I bought a small tea timer so now I can get the most out of the better quality teas I buy & that saves a lot of money with multiple brews in this pot. I have arthritis in my fingers so the flat top of the handle is perfect for me to grasp the teapot safely & easily. That's a bigger issue than many may think. Round handles, combined with a full pot allow slipping forward which I don't get with this shape at all. I have all Japanese or Chinese teaware so this Zen pot looks wonderful on my small, black tea tray with my white rabbit tea pets. What a nice treat for myself. Treat aside, the sturdiness and quality of the glass and design have made this my everyday tea pot and that says a lot because I have several pots. I'd absolutely recommend this to anyone who enjoys the simple elegance of a well made produce.

This tea basket fully submerges the tea leaves, even when you’re only making a half pot of tea. No more floating leaves or weak flavor. If you often brew smaller amounts, this is a game-changer. Highly recommended for partial pots.

I use this pot daily for brewing sencha & Fukamushi green tea. I recommend this tea pot!

Der Filter ist fein genug um fast alles zurückzuhalten. Hierdurch ist die Kanne für alle Sorten Tee gut geeignet. Sowohl Grün wie auch Schwarz oder Kräuter und Frucht. Dabei kann sich der Tee fast in der Ganzen Kanne entfalten. Einzig kleines Manko ist, das das Sieb keinen eigenen griff hat. Dies stört mich nicht daher auch die 5 Sterne.

Sehr schöne Teekanne, erfüllt seine Funktion und sieht schick aus

Ich schätze es, die Farbe meines Tees in der Kanne zu sehen. Das Sieb ist groß und die Teeblätter können sich so gut entfalten. Es ist etwas schwierig, das heiße Teesieb nach dem Ziehen zu entfernen. Beim Eingießen in eine Tasse, muß man auf den Deckel aufpassen. Der rutscht schon mal.

「茶茶急須 禅」を購入しました...全モデルの評価が表示されるので...テヘッ 茶葉を定量入れてお湯を注ぐと茶葉が踊っていい感じ、茶漉しが大きいことがポイントですね。 耐熱ガラスで色合いもグーです。 給気の穴が蓋の縁に3つ...お茶を注ぐ時に空気がお湯を混ぜるのが良いのか悪いのか...お茶屋さんによって考えが違うので何とも言えませんが、一保堂では混ぜないほうが良いと教わりました（苦味が際立つそうです）。 最後の一滴まできれいに注げるのも高得点❢ 後片付けも隅々まで洗えて清潔です。 陶器だと同じようなペリカン口の茶器は3千円以上するので値段も良いと思います。 ただ、欠点として挙げておきたいのは、注ぐ時に蓋を押さえる必要があるのですが、取っ手が注ぎ口の反対にあるので片手で注ぐのが困難なことです。 普通の茶器は、注ぎ口の90度の位置に棒状の取っ手が有り、親指で蓋を押さえることで片手で注げます。改良を望みます。
