Game changer!
I have been doing IT for about 20 years now and I can make some nice cramps, but with these ice cubes, I make pro cramps all the time! It takes some getting use to, but we'll worth it!

if you make cables occasionally then buy these.
This is the kind you want to use if you make cables occasionally (make sure you have a cutting tool) If you make cables every day the blind end connectors are slightly cheaper... but not much. If you make a cable every week or two then these will be cheaper because you can make sure your wires are correct before you crimp saving the cost of the mistakes.

Great product
I love the finished product once everything is terminated. They look and work great!

The only one I'll buy.
A must have if you do any type of custom Ethernet Cable runs. I've used this same brand for years at work. I must have made 1000s of cables. The only time the cable failed after testing was because the proper wiring sequence wasn't followed. It never failed because of the connector. The pass trough makes it so much more unproblematic to see that your wires are in the correct order, and if the wires are sticking out, it's long enough. Many fails from other types where the wires must bump up to the back wall inside. Multi-color boots make identifying cables easy and helps save the cable as well. Hint: Purchase a Pass Through RJ45 crimper as well, saves time trimming excess wire.

Great pass through connectors, terrible boots!
Bought these for CAT6 cable, and while the connectors are perfect, the boots are too tight to fit over the wire. I suppose I could hear the boots or use lubrication, and I may try that. But for now my cables are bootless.

Easy to use
Easy to use. Work as described. Older crimper tool doesn't cut wires that pass through, so extra step to trim wires if without newer crimper.

Great value and product.
Good value for the combination of the jacks and boots together. The pass through jacks work great, easy to pass through the heavier CAT6 cables and keep twisted closer to the jack. I’ve used on both solid and stranded cable, both worked good. Pass through is the way to go, though you do need a special crimper unless you want to manually trim the ends.

Terrible connectors
I must have used 18 connectors, only 2 worked. All the rest shorted on 4/5/6/7 in random ways. Until my wife said “maybe the connectors are defective”. I bought another pack of rj45 connectors from VCE and low and behold, a 100% success rate with all of these connectors.ITbebe you have a manufacturing issue with your product.

Solid Performance
I have used this brand of connectors for a couple of years and have monitored their efficiency. I have not noticed any issues with their use. Good solid product.

Whatever savings you get with the low price is lost redoing problems!
I have been involved with computers and networks for over forty years. I have terminated hundreds of RJ45 plugs on Cat 5 thru Cat 7 cables. My "success rate" is in the order of 97-98%. Until I used these RJ-45 Plugs! I do like the "feed-thru" connectors and have used them for the last several years. However, these connectors will not be my "go-to!" I have made six patch cables using Cat 6 cable. On one of these connectors one of the pins fell out of the connector even before the conductors were inserted into the plug. On at least two - maybe three - the initial crimp left one or two leads open. I had to re-crimp with a different crimp tool to establish continuity. On two plugs I was unable to insert a conductor thru the plug (23 ga. wire). I had to strip the insulation to get the conductor thru the plug and then exert a significant force with pliers to pull the insulated part of the conductor thru. These plugs come with a strain relief. When using Cat 6 with the internal spine I was unable to insert the strain relief into the plug because the Cat 6 took up too much room in the plug. Before writing this I tried two 2 meter patch cables. Both failed - one connector showed a 5-6 (WBl to Green in T568B) short. A second connector was open in pin 7 (WBr) but the conductor was firmly held in place. I have not experienced any of these problems with other RJ45 plugs that I have used in the past. I have ordered better quality RJ45 feed-thru plugs.
