The Promised Neverland, Vol. 19 (19)

I bought this book as a gift for a teen girl who likes this series.

I can't believe the second to last volume of The Promised Neverland has released already. So much happens in volume 19. It's kind of one of those volumes that is best read slow or multiple times. As the climax of the war for freedom comes to a head, there is a lot to digest. With factions we haven't seen in awhile joining the fight, the attempt to rid the world of the tainted blood, a power struggle for control to shape the future, Emma's plans, Norman's plans and Peter Ratri's plan all colliding. It's a lot to take in.Having read the series back with it's original run in Shonen Jump Magazine it has been a real treat to revisit it. A highlight of reading the volumes are the behind the scenes pages in between each chapter. As each one either contains extra details about characters or the world. Or in a few cases we even get some deleted scenes that didn't make the cut. I genuinely hope we'll get a proper anime adaptation for the series that follows the manga. But until that day, rereading the series is a treat that shouldn't be missed out on. -MickManga

Omggg.. I wasn't expecting that.. I am so proud of mom! And LEUVIS?? WHERE DID HE COME FROM?! I'm just glad he stopped the execution!

I'll be brief for people who might be wondering whether to invest in this series. If you've read books 1-18, of course you'll read this one, regardless. It's a fantastic series. If you've watched the Season 1 anime, it really follows through the first 4 or 5 books. The other 15 continue a harrowing tale of children having to outsmart a demon world that is hell bent on raising them as food. It's a fairly dark story with brief stints of humor and lightheartedness. There's a few slow periods that lack proper pacing, but overall it's a compelling story that will keep you engaged until the end.

I’ve been wanting to read these books for a while now and couldn’t find a good seller. I placed my order and they came very fast. They were wrapped up for protection and were in good quality, will be purchasing more books from this reputable seller!

Another fantastic book following the promised neverland story, I wish I never saw the anime season two unfortunately kinda ruined a bit but not entirely.

The Manga Has A Much Better Plot Than The Anime! Loved this volume. Can't wait for the next volume to come out!!

All the surprises and the amazing characters, it is wonderful to see the children’s games used in such effective ways in the fights. The characters are amazing and Emma shows such a difference. It is very much a full circle, I cannot wait to see the final play!

Chegou tudo bem e muito rápido

The villain is stupid in a cringey way and the characters just stand there with machine guns pointed directly at him and still manage to let him steal one and escape.Volume came in good condition.Series lulls in quality late into the story. I felt some bits really are told to you and not shown, and in a dumb and childish way also like the moral this volume was clumsily trying to impart on me.Some bits are a bit boring.

I did NOT expect that and that and also that one. Such a good series. I love it so much. It's really a shame they've messed so much up in the second season of the anime.

This was honestly a great volume, I can’t wait for the paperback of vol 20!
