Black Expandable Baton End LED Light

This fit my baton perfectly and it is blinding bright up close. However, it does not throw a beam more than 20 feet away like a traditional flashlight with a focusing head on it. I have flashlights that will work 500 yards away. So for home defense like out in my yard its not the best. However, indoors this thing would blind your attacker or identify them just enough to work well. Im not sure how durable as I do not beat anything with my baton. Also it takes a round hearing aid type battery that would be a rare find if society breaks down and your battery is dead. You simply unscrew and tighten it to make the flashlight work.

This was bought for a smith and wesson baton and it fits perfectly. One look at the packaging and I could see the product didn't look great. One of the included batteries was dead on arrival, maybe the seller is to blame, but the real issue is the brightness. This would never be useful on its own. Its overpriced at $10 and the brightness is pathetic. I have a sort of novelty pen that has a single led bulb on the end. It was free from a local business (the kind with the business' name on it as promotional marketing), nothing fancy, and it is noticeably brighter than this. This has 3 leds and doesn't compete with a pen! If this had a nice cree led its would be a fantastic product but I don't recommend this the way it is. Luckily with the product brand I didn't expect much so I wasn't too disappointed.

This is the only screw on led light I could find to attach to my Smith and Wesson baton.What I really like about it is its very solid and attaches perfectly. You can keep it on very tight and still unscrew the top to keep the light off.So when I wear this now it looks more like a flashlight than anything else.The con is that the light isn't very bright. Up the power and this will be perfect.

This LED light is marginally good. The best part I would say is the fact that it attaches to something you may already have in your hand. The light is very dim and the only way to turn it off is to "loosen it" So if you have it screwed in the light will remain on.

I have a retractable baton I carry in my vehicle for protection. It's nice to have the little LED lite on the end so I can use it as a small flashlight when needed.

Great idea but it is NOT bright enough at all, if it were about 5 times brighter, it would be perfect. I will give it this much, it does a perfect job of making your baton look just like a small flash light.

I liked the idea of the flashlight end cap because with that attached to the baton it makes it appear to be just a flash light. Negative issue was one of the LED nodes is burned out already..

This product works with Smith & Wesson Batons, and similar-type of telescopic batons. Please read the laws in your state before buying a baton. You may be better off using a hiking stick or metal umbrella!
