These work as described although I have to mention the first set of the 16oz ones had a defective clamp and would not stay closed. The replacements work well.

The product, the individual bottles, are fine... as long as they are whole. Unfortunately, I keep getting broken bottles in my shipments, which I am guessing is either an amazon problem or a delivery issue. It is disheartening that things come in broken like this. I can not fault the manufacturer since, as you can see, the bottles are well packaged. Perhaps bounced too hard by someone having a rough day??? I am pleases that it was an easy refund, but I would honestly rather the bottle. I use this type for my kombucha and my water kefir. It also does not seem fair that the seller is paying for the damages and not the handlers.

I needed some bottles as I make a lot of teas and natural juices to have in my fridge. I thought these would be convenient and allow for a variety of juices to be kept at the same time. I was not disappointed at all. The price for what you get is unbeatable, the quality isn’t bad, but you can tell that the glass isn’t perfectly even form bottle to bottle, with a lot of variability in thickness between bottles. I will say though, that everything arrived unbroken, in good shape, with no issues since I bough this about a year ago. I’ve used them with hot teas, cold drinks, cocktails, and still no issues with breaking or leaks. The tops give a good seal for the drink I have to shake a bit due to natural pulp or sediment, so I just hold the cap just in case, but no problems yet. Everything washes well with a pip cleaner brush I bought to clean the insides of the bottle with. The labels that came are great, as well as the white chalk pen. All-in-all, very happy with my purchase. I would recommend for anyone looking to buy for value and not perfection. Great buy!

These work well for bottling or everyday use. They break easily with even small drops or getting knocked over. At the price this is a small sacrifice. seal well. good size. no oily or funny taste when new.

I make my own kombucha and water kefir and these bottles have been great to use for the second fermentation process. Not everybody in my house agrees on the flavors they like, so using these bottles I’m able to individualize the flavors for each person in the house. Just make sure to pop the bottle open once every day during the second fermentation so that too much carbonation doesn’t build up, otherwise you risk the bottle exploding. And that’s not just with these bottles, but with any bottles.

Don't usually write reviews, good or bad, but these bottles do NOT secure well. Each of them had a top that completely dislodged from the bottle when opening (metal came out of bottle holes). One tipped over in my car and opened, spilling everywhere.

Being one litre instead of the usual drink bottles of 750mm, I can now fit more filtered water in the same cupboard area! Glass is best for that, as well as keeping them out of heat and sunlight.

Had to order twice and both times multiple bottles were broken upon arrival. The description states the bottle’s seals will withstand 4 ATM and that it leaks but both statements are false. The seal is very poor.
