3.5 inch barrier fully expanded holds the water back, and stacking 2 high does work well. Once the rain is over the barriers don’t deflate very quickly and over several weeks their shape becomes crinkled making further use less effective. Keeping them out of sunlight does help. As an emergency water diverter they are a good purchase. I’ve purchased them several times. Worth the price to keep the house from flooding.

Product still in unopened box. I use the product however these are big round not for damming up any area that I have. Wont let me return although in unopened box. The long ones are what I use I cant imagine how these would be used. I can't use them. 😞
