A Return to Love Workshop: The Basics of A Course in Miracles Audio CD – CD, April 9, 2013

Through a live seminar condensed over several days Marianne guides you through a way to incorporate A Course in Miracles in your daily life. I would recommend this to anyone who believes you have been here before and you have a path you have chosen and you want to better your experience this time around. A Course in Miracles is very powerful and very personal. You will have to be very open minded. This is not your basic self help course. It's a whole new religion.I would have given it 5 stars but, her questions from the audience slows down the lessons. I don't want to listen to someone else talk about their issues. I can get that at an AA meeting. Marianne is so far advanced in understanding of the Course that she sometimes is condescending in her answers. Now I know how Christ must have felt when questioned all the time. It would help to read A course in Miracles before listening to Marianne. You really need the daily practice to put to use your return to love. I listen to the CD's over and over. You learn something new each time. There are meditations and prayer in the middle of the lectures. It's better to find a quite place when listening. I do hope you will give Marianne a listen. It will be well worth your time.

I have to say there is something profoundly beautiful in this workshop. I must be at the right place in my life to receive this message. Through the years I have listened to a variety of spiritual teachers...some traditional Christian and some they would label "new age". In all teachings I try to hear the truth to which they point. This workshop does a beautiful job of helping you if you have been stuck in un-forgiveness and guilt. I did not find this workshop to be "new age" over the top. I found it brought me much closer to the love of God. I appreciate this workshop it has been such a blessing to me.

This is a wonderful workshop recording. The sound quality is excellent. Marianne Williamson talks about the Course in Miracles and what the practice of forgiveness and unity have to offer. There is some audience Q&A throughout, but I do not believe that takes away from the quality of content. There is also some Christian terminology used, so if you are not Christian, you should understand that they are only examples and symbols likely used in simplifying the explanation of the principles taught.I recommend this to everyone, regardless whether you are a student of the Course.

It's unfortunate I waited to play this after the time of being able to return it... 3 of the sets sides were blank with no content. Amazon, will you make good?

I have bought this audiobook and I have listened to it over and over again. It has inspired me so much I could not recommend anything more. I have listed to it before buying the book and it also inspired me to start reading A Course in Miracles. It is a very special audiobook for a wonderful journey towards true happiness. I love Marianne, and this CD was no let down - I have already listened to it once, and will be listening again. What I love about her, is she pulls no punches. She tells it how it is, and doesn't always tell you what you want to hear, but certainly tells you what you need to hear. Her delivery is enthusiastic and vibrant. Highly recommend.
