CNC Aluminum Speed Transmission Case Gearbox for 1/10 RC Crawler TRX-4

So far it's held up pretty well. Used in my trx4 sport because I wanted a little more speed out of it. all metal gears hardened steel. You do need to grease them a little and use threadlock on the screws. I did use the stock spur gear tho because the one that came on this was pretty small in comparison. Wanted to keep some of the low end torque. I would say there is about a 75 percent increase in speed from low to high With the stock spur. Shifts really well. Don't notice any issues with it. It's been about 3 months so I can say this is a definite good buy.

I was weary about this product but its fantastic. The shift fork is all metal unlike the traxxas one. Machine quality was fantastic. Been running it hard for about 2 months now and ive been super happy with it. Just be sure to open it up and pack it with marine grease as it comes assembled with zero grease inside. The unit fit right in my TRX4 with no issues whatsoever. Shifts smoother then the factory traxxas transmission as well.

Very well built the shifter fork on the internals is made of aluminum instead of plastic like the Traxxas brand. Also has a metal spur gear. Make sure to crack the case open and put some Grease on those gears and on the rear cover for front and rear output shaft they just have factory oil from when the parts were made

This is a great transmission. Everything on or in this is metal including the spur gear and clutch piece that changes the transmission from 1st to 2nd gear. It is really smooth. Smoother than the stock transmission from Traxxas.
