Do you mean peel off the hard skin formed?I Don't worry about that ,all I do is peel it off when it is ready to peel. If it doesn't peel off right away keep using it and when it is ready it will come off very easily. I hope I have answered your question.

Should i leave the liquid on even after it dries, orr do i wash or peel it off?

I leave it on and add more. If you peel it off too soon it’s going to hurt, if the corn isn’t ready to come off.
