Political Theory : An Introduction

This is a great book to start for beginners in Political science.. the complex concepts are explained in a very simple and detailed manner.But this book is not complete for upsc exam. after reading this book, read OP Gauba to add some missing points.First read this book to build the basic concept and then read gauba..

Very happy. Infact I recieved an updated 4th edition published in 2015, instead of the 3rd edition as shown in picture. Its an original print and not a duplicate print.

A good introduction. The first two chapters deal with the evolution of Political Theory and its nature and scope , and are especially useful for clarity of understanding. Later chapters are divided into groups of 3 concepts elucidated in continuum , eg. Politics,Government,State. You can read it fast and still get a good hold over the contents. If you want greater conceptual clarity than what you get from Indian authors, read this.
