Gutter Games Beat That! Game Household Objects Expansion [Family Party Game for Kids & Adults]

I purchased this box for entertainment at a party of mostly adults. The games were fun, we skipped a few that looked risky to the household decor but played many. Added a few more household items so that more people could play at once, such as the chopsticks (only one set is included with the box so we added 3 more sets). There were enough games left that we did not try that we can play at the next party without repeats.

I gifted this game to my family for Christmas. I thought the kids would have fun playing it. Normally my husband and I don’t love to play physical challenge games, but we decided to play Beat That! for our family night. What a fun surprise! The challenges aren’t too physical, or embarrassing, unlike other physical challenge games we’ve played. There was lots of laughter and cheering. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and the kids asked if we could play again the next night. Would recommend this game to anyone. A few of the challenges might be too hard for grandparents, or disabled participants (i.e. see who can hold the plank position the longest), but you can adapt the challenges however you like, or just skip and pick another one. The rules are super simple and easy to understand. For people who are more visual learners there are videos on YouTube that explain how to play the game.

I spend some time looking for new games for the family. We have always made board/card games a part of growing up for our kids but it is not always easy to find a game that keeps everyone entertained AND wanting to play it again in the future. As my kids get older it is harder to find something that can pull them off their phones and get them interacting with their siblings and us. This game did not disappoint!The challenges are just easy enough for you to try them, only to find out that they are much harder than you first thought. We did not have to pass on any of the cards due to difficulty. My youngest is 10 and he was able to fully participate and do all the challenges. I would recommend this to any family, likely good for kids as young as 6 or 7 but probably best for 8 and up. Great for adults as well, these are not easy, kid only challenges!

Bought this game as a “gift exchange” gift. It was the hit that everyone was fighting over before it was even opened! Once opened it was even more coveted!! The game has rounds with many challenges within one game using simple tools that are all included. We played with 8-10 + people for hours and laughed and giggled the entire time. The challenges are simple enough that all ages/abilities can play but just difficult enough to be laughably frustrating! If you are entertaining a large group, this game is a must have! Drinks not included but compliment nicely! Enjoy some good clean family fun!

Lately all games seem to be the same thing copied over again. This game is sooo much fun and finally something new! Everyone is involved! There are activity cards that you draw and bet on how much you think you’re able to do the activities. Some, you have to get up and do something tricky in order to keep the coins you bet. It’s a really fun game. (AND CAN BE A DRINKING GAME TOO)

We played this game at Christmas and it was hilarious! It's great because everyone is on the same level. It's made up of games/challenges that no one can train for so it becomes hilarious trying to work out the best strategy for the goofy things the game asks you to do.

I gifted this to my BIL and we've only dug into it once so far at a party. It has all the components you could need and instructions. We played I think only 3 of the games that this thing offers, we laughed and had a good time. You have to be pretty mobile and have some space for some of them. We look forward to try out some others!

Great gift for young adults that play games with their friends.

This game is amazing! I bought it for something new to do with the whole family at family get together.It was an instant hit, my grandchildren from age 8 and up plaid and even my 74 year old mother payed and loved it so much ordered her own.The only con I found with this game is because it's so much fun everyone wants to play and they only have enough coins for 8 people. It's a must buy if you love having fun!!! Worth every penny.

Amazing purchase, great gift and an incredibly fun game!!Reminds me a little of the game show “A minute to win it” if anyone is familiar. The challenges are unique, difficult but so much fun.Great party game, family game, I’d even say a pretty good drinking game!10 out of 10, I only wish I knew about this game earlier. Not just the typical sit down type of game. Gets you on your feet and gives you a good challenge.

Challenges were kind of cool to try but very difficult in most cases which I suppose adds to the enjoyment.I didn't like using coins to make bets on if someone would be able to do a challenge. We stopped playing with the betting coins after a few rounds and just did the challenges themselves.Overall we had fun with it but not as fun as I had hoped for the core gameplay. Not a fan of betting on players winning or losing a challenge.

This is an easy to play game. Lots of fun activities that brings lots of laughter to the table. I have played it with my grandchildren age 10 and 12. We are planning to play it Christmas Eve when everyone comes to our house. If you are looking for a game the whole family can play with not many rules or instructions but brings lots of laughs. Then this game is it!

Every one we have played with have found this game totally amazing. Some other reviews have stated the game contents are items you likely have in your house, but so what? The card and the structure of the game are what make it a great game, and if you like party games / or just games to get you up and moving this one is perfect.
