Super Happy!
Bought one of these years ago. Happy with quality and functionality compared to other brands Iโve tried. Super happy with this newer model and ease of use! Already organized and labeled up some items around the house.

Bought this to mark wires with. Print the numbers and letters on shrink tube for marking wires. Love it! Great product!

Great For Labeling Everything!!
I've found this extremely handy for labeling everything in my music studio. From mic cables to unlabeled buttons on the mixing board that have special assignments. And it was nice to fool proof all the condenser microphones by putting a 48Volt label on microphones that take 48V so whoever plugs them in knows to check. Just the label printing function has been a huge help. It prints them as fast as you need and the quick cut feature is sweet! Changing the label cartridge to a different style is a BREEZE! It was a slight learning curve learning how to use all the various functions, but I didn't find the instruction booklet too difficult unlike some other products. And by the way, there's a lot of how to's on YTube if need any help figuring it out. I wish I'd bought one of these years ago.

Purchased to replace one from 2013 that mechanically failed
Great label maker and a nice update since my old one died after a decade of use! As a project-oriented home-owner and small portfolio property manager, it's a great tool to be able to put notes on things when I want to. Most recently, for instance, I used it for my hardware bins - so convenient! This one has plenty of fonts and font sizes so you can customize more to your taste ... arguably more of a complexity and novelty than necessity. I'm very pleased my old ribbons work on the new machine, as these "consumables" are costly. I had gotten used to having one, forcing this replacement. Given how everything today is built cheaply, I hope it lasts at least as long than the last.

Easy to use and type.
Its shape makes it easy to hold and type. It is larger and heavier than the competition. Uses 6 AA batteries, so that contributes to the weight. The label backing is easy to remove as they are split down the middle. Tape adhesion is above average. There are several things it has trouble sticking to. (my garage remote must be coated in teflon because nothing will stick to it besides krazy glue.) I found the unit a bit on the expensive side, though.

Easy to use and makes beautiful labels.
It works great, but I didn't realize that it does not come with an AC adapter. That has to bought separately.

HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT, STAY AWAY
I do a lot of larger cable wraps for IT and don't like the Brother laminated labels (lamination can come apart under certain temps and humidity). I like the Dymo Rhino vinyl labels for that purpose, but Brother for everything else. The labeller seemed on par with the Dymo Rhino 4200 which is my current on-hand labeller, also have a "all the bells and whistles" Brother PTE560BTVP more specific applications; switchboards, rack builds etc. But don't like running 2 tape types. Seeing as Epson has a very wide variety of label types, I thought I would try this as my first foray into the Epson label ecosystem. And it seemed to be similar size to my Rhino so I could have it in my everyday kit. But this labeller is a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. -Buttons are too sensitive, very easy to mistype. -In cable wrap mode, you have to specify how long the label needs to be not what diameter cable you are going to use it on (maybe you can do your circumference calcs off the the top of your head, but that's too much work). Also, only allow 4 characters per line; imagine you have to split "Kitchen" into 2 lines... -Can't change to metric. Unless you are only looking to do a few labels for your spice rack or office filing, STAY AWAY. I was going to try the PX700/PX900. However, this has been such a bad experience I am no longer interested.

Great value labeling solution!
The LABELWORKS Epson LW-PX300 stands out as a reliable industrial label maker tailored for both home and office usage. Its compatibility with sticker labels and magnetic tape brings versatility to the table, allowing me to tailor my labeling needs seamlessly. Though it strictly uses 203 and 205 shrink tube tapes, the quality and durability of the labels produced are commendable. The portable handheld design makes it convenient to carry around and use wherever needed. A solid choice for anyone seeking a dependable labeling tool.
