Back flow in my kitchen sink which is very slow moving no pressure water, will this valve allow my sink to drain?

No - this will not work on a drain. It needs pressure to open for the flow.

Will it work for pool pump?

Yes, I purchased this to keep my in-line chlorinator from flowing back into my heater. It does require gluing PVC fittings for the hose adapters on either side.
