So I spend good money to buy a brand new sharp knife set. Two weeks later that new knife set is dull as toast! I ordered this sharpener and received it last week...WOW! It is the greatest and easiest knife and scissors sharpener ever invented!!! So easy and safe to use, so quick to sharpen your knives and "WOW' that scissors option is perfect...I've never had a scissors sharpener before...Love this! Thanks so much for this great product! I am very impressed with this product. It is well made, and it has worked well to sharpen our knives. The design makes it easy to use, with the adjustable angle dial and the holding handle that allows you to hold the sharpener securely. The knife sharpening stage works well and is a good addition to the product. It has a good storage case. I am very pleased with the price and performance.

So far, the sharpener is working flawlessly. I replaced a worn diamond wheel motor driven unit that served well for years. After reading this product's reviews, it seemed a more economical alternative going forward. I received the product this week and have been a sharpening demon since. Our cutlery set now walks through meat like a hot wire through butter. My trusty hand-forged utility knife sharpened better than when I first took it off the anvil.The adjustable angle suggests that it is practical to put a fine edge on a variety of blades. I have yet to test each edge angle.I rated at 4 stars simply because the QR code took me to an offer to purchase the URL rather than registering the warranty.

I've always struggled to get a fine edge on my knives until I found this. It is deceptively easy to use! I draw my knives through the sharpening wedge 4 times then through the polish wedge 4 times and the knife is razor sharp! I highly recommend this for those who want a sharp edge easily!

I purchased this because a had a knife I could not put an edge on. Knowing I could return this sharpener I figured, what the heck, let’s give it a try. Long story short, I love it! Easy to use, puts a fine edge on a knife I no time. If you need a quality sharpener at a reasonable price, you should give it a try. Highly recommend

So I learned to sharpen knives a few different ways over the years. Sharpening stones and honing oil are amazing if you have the time and the patience to learn to hold knife at the right angle, and learn the right pressure, and know when to switch to the next stone. We will not even get into grinders and polishers.But what if you are a normal household where you want to dependably sharpen your kitchen knives and or pocket knives to a nice useful edge? I have owned three or four similar style countertop sharpeners like this, and this is the first one I would recommend to others. I like the adjustable angles to create or repair your blade edge and finish it to a smooth and very sharp finish correct for your knife. Will it make it truly "razor sharp"? In most cases probably not, but if you spend a bit of time with the sharpener and learn how to use it, you can get it pretty close. I will say that it noticeably improved the quality and the cut of all of my kitchen knives and two of field knives with little to no actual effort. Will I be able to shave with any of them, no. But why would i want to?If you are looking for a simple to use sharpener to help you get most out of your household knives, this will probably suit your needs. If you are looking for something to make you a professional knife sharpener for a new career, you probably should look elsewhere.

The name RazorSharp is not entirely accurate. I bought a new Victorinox boning knife and did the paper cutting test and it cut though it like butter with virtually no resistance or tearing. It was indeed Razor Sharp and I could shave with it. Obviously I expected that to happen. Using the RAZORSHARP Ceramic for honing did not get the exact new condition back on the blade and there is a slight drag on the feel when doing the paper test. BUT it is sufficient and easy to use and keeps the angle of the blade correct. I did sharpen some old knives and it most definitely put an edge on them but you could not shave with them.

I was hesitant to spent this much money when I have several other (including electric) sharpening systems. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that this device really works well. Not for extremely worn edges though.
