Full Red Pizza Sauce No. 10 Can (6 lb 11 oz)

This sauce is pretty good. I also added "pizza spice" to the pie too. I really think I will be sticking to my Prego sauce only because of the size of the can of Full Red. Since I only make one "medium" sized pizza per week..... it will take MONTHS for me to use all of this can.***** UPDATE The sauce only stayed good for a month in the fridge. I should have frozen at least half of it.

Maybe I was expecting something different based on the reviews. My grandmother always used Contadina pizza sauce at home, and it stuck with me through the years. I figured I would try something new, and it is a delicious sauce.. but not very different from what I was using locally. I'll definitely give some to my little spaghetti eaters, and see if they can tell I switched.

We usually make our spaghetti sauce from scratch, this stuff makes it easier just add some garlic, onion, basil in a pan. multiple uses. Love it.

Wrong item arrived.....was not the ready to eat sauce with spices.

This is great sauce. But if you look around, chances are there is a food distributor in your area that supplies restaurants and will also sell to you on a cash and carry basis. I pay around $30 for a case of these (6 cans) when I can get to the distributor closest to me. You can also buy cheese from them that is about a billion times better than any cheese you can find in a grocery store. Also, check local mom and pop pizza places. A lot of them will sell you sauce. This is popular among pizza places. At least in my area it is.
