Very Good Solid Pack apples!
Update: The can I got last month was not solid pack, lots more water. I was only able to make 2 pies. Still excellent apples, though. Original review: I use these apples in pies. They are solid packed with very little water, no sugar or other ingredients. The apples are firm, not mushy and they make great pies, without the work of using fresh apples, and they don't shrink in baking like fresh apples do. Each can makes (3) 10" pies. If I want to make fewer than that, I freeze what's left, and works great, too. I get these by subscription, and my family loves it!

Great!
I received the 6lb can of sliced apples, and bought a hand can opener, too large for the electric tall can opener. I decided to use the whole can and made a double recipe of apple crumble, delicious! The apples had a slight citrusy taste, probably used to prevent the apples from turning brown in the processing, so put them in a large bowl, covered them with cold water, and moved them around, then drained, and put into baking dish. I am thinking of peaches next, peach cobbler or crumble.

Great if you don’t have time to peel
I needed a large quantity of apples and didn’t have time to peel my own. I was surprised that it’s from Italy. It did the job for my recipe

Damaged Apple Can
The can arrived severely damaged and leaking.

Easy Apples
Was impressed with the amount of apples versus liquid. Did not need to drain, added a little sugar and butter, delicious.

Excellent product
The cans were full of apples and very little water. The apples were firm and not mushy at all, great texture. I was extremely impressed with the quality. I made a cobbler out of them, but they definitely can be used for a multitude of applications. Will buy again if I need large quantities for a recipe.
