LOVED!
OMG- to borrow the words used by the heroine of my latest release, "I give Fame 5 overflowing, expensive champagne flutes!" I absolutely LOVED this book. It has been a very long time since I read a book that I thought about so often even when I wasn't reading.Fame centered around the movie industry and the players in Hollywood from directors competing for the Academy Awards for best director and best picture, to the young, beautiful, talented and troubled actors, to the jealous and insecure spouses, to the ins and outs of creating and funding a movie. There was romance, intrigue, steamy sex, cat fights and back stabbing. There were also twists and turns and heart warming character development. I loved how unpredictable it was and that even though I knew how I wanted things to end up, I was never quite sure I was on track with the author. I'm happy to say that as far as the romantic elements were concerned, the author did not disappoint me at all.Fame reminded me of the books I used to read in the late 1980s and early 1990s from Jackie Collins (Lucky), Judith Krantz (I'll Take Manhattan) and Sidney Sheldon (Master of the Game). I didn't think authors wrote those types of books anymore but I am so glad to find I was wrong. And I might have to re-read the above books now. Very happy to have discovered Ms. Bagshawe and cannot wait to read more from this extremely talented author.

It was ok
I have read a few Tilly Bagshawe books and while this one was ok it wasn't what I was expecting. It wasn't bad - it just wasn't what I was expecting - I became aware of Tilly Bagshawe because Sidney Sheldon is by far my favorite writer, no one could write a thriller, romance, mystery novel better than Sidney Sheldon. I have read several Bagshawe books that were romance type thriller mysteries and they were good - so I guess i just expected all of her books to be along the same lines, this one wasn't that.

Hollywood back story.
This novel is filled with the production of movies in the fore front. The personalities of the main characters make you either support them or want to smack them. The story line keeps you on edge as to what the outcome will be. I enjoyed it all the way and while I was hoping for a good ending, I was sorry it ended, I just wanted it to go on. She is a terrific author and I look forward to reading more of her work.

LOVED FAME
Loved the book ... don't enjoy the dirty parts much and don't take much notice of them .. but Tilly's storylines are always amazingly fantastic ... her books are unputdownable and I always hate finishing them. Wish she would continue writing about the characters she makes us love (or hate lol) and never stop

Wish there would be a Fame 2
TIlly Bagshawe is fast becoming a favorite of mine. The characters seem so real and you think you know how they interact with each other to discover just enough surprises that you are pleasently surprised in the end. Makes me wish a continuing story might happen

Fun with Fame
This is a fun book. There is a lot of Hollywood drama, complete with typical diva -ish personalities. You will find yourself wondering how ego can evolve into such chaos. When your life work is centered on your looks/youthfulness, there will be a traumatic event that brings your ego into check. While love seems to be the redeeming factor in this book, you will snicker when everyone reaps what they sow.Entertaining, good pacing, a tad predictable. A humorous, relaxing read. Don't know if I can use the B word on Amazon, but the itches in this book are worth meeting.

Fame
Generally, I liked the book, but was sometimes put off by all of the indiscriminate sex and the inappropriate language. If all "famous" people were to talk and act like these characters do, I'd avoid them and not honor them with my entertainment dollars. Some of the happenings at the end of the book were a little too far-fetched for me. I know the director had the hots for the leading lady, but that's a little too cliche'. It seemed like it should be a more father/daughter relationship than a sexual one.

Love me some Hollywood drama!
This was my first read by Tilly Bagshawe and I enjoyed it. Loved the varying locations, characters, and how they all tied together. I liked the way perspective changed between all of the characters so the reader knows in the moment what each of them is thinking. The book was a bit long and dragged at parts and I felt the ending didn't resolve everything. Without spoiling anything, it just felt a little anticlimactic to me after everything that happened in the book. Hence the 4 stars. It was well written though and I would definitely read more from this author.

excellent!
Tilly Bagshawe's writing is so good. This is a sexy, absorbing, fun, glamorous read that ticks pretty much all the boxes. I loved the shoot location and was taken in by all the characters, especially Sabrina, who was an excellent mix of vulnerable and spoiled rotten. I read this in a matter of days, it's perfect for curling up with when you want some escapism or packing in your holiday bags. My only gripe was that it was a bit short. Bonkbusters should feel like big epic reads and while this one began with that promise I felt it tied up rather quickly at the end.

Really Enjoyable ....... loved it!
2nd Tilly Bagshaw book ive read and she is fast becoming one of my fave chic lit authors ... Fame is fab - great characters, funny plot that had me laughing out loud to myself on my lunch breaks ... with some unexpected twist and turns .. however everything ends as it should in a novel like this .. slightly unrealistic but it wants we want to read and what we expect ...!!!

Enjoyable, but not up to par.
I am a fan of Tilly Bagshawe having read most of her previous novels. This book was an enjoyable read and typical guilty pleasure chick lit, but not as good as previous novels I have read. While the plot line had the ups and downs of a typical Bagshawe novel, it was hard to emphathise with some characters and the usual tying up of romances at the end of this one was a little odd and mismatched I thought. I bought this in the Kindle sale for less than £2.00 and for that it is worth the money, but I would not rush to pay much more than this. An okay beach read, but nothing more.

Enjoyable
This book was enjoyable, but not unputdownable. I have read all of the author's previous novels and I didnt enjoy this book as much as the others. Its probably because I didnt warm to any of the central characters. As a beach read or something to do if you have a spare hour thsn its ok. But usually when I warm to a book, I use every available minute to pick up the book, and this one didnt do that for me.

Boring, predictable and not worth it
So disappointed with this book that I missed about a quarter just to get to the end so I could finish it. Predictable story - scandal starlet turns good girl, whilst gorgeous leading man falls in love with a charity worker. Not worth the money, glad it was on offer.
