Only half it's brightness with colours
I got a bulb like this years ago. It has full brightness when white or warm white. But it is only half as bright when you change to a colour. Do not buy. All the ones in my house have same brightness regardless of colour. Definitely a design flaw.

cheap plastic crap that breaks off in the lamp socket. will brick your lamp(s).

Excellent bulbs
Bought these as have quite a few TCP devices already such as smart plugs. These work excellently. Being used for outdoor lights with no problem at all. WiFi connectivity seems very good, and had no problem at all setting them up using the TCP App. Perhaps as I have set up a few of their devices before it was simpler as have used the App frequently. Good value for money too!

Solid Cool White colour, terrible setup software
Lightbulb has a fantastic white setting, but all other colours don't match the described colour in the UI. However the pairing process is painful, expect thirty minutes of faffing about with your phone held up to the lightbulb to get it synced up.

An easy to use equivalent
Connected easily to the app, was there as soon as as I turned the power on. They're really bright, but a little too bright at the lowest level compared to the Hue bulbs. The app lets me schedule them to turn on in the morning and then turn themselves off again which is really nice.

Can't connect.
Like others have found, could not get this to connect. The manufacturer points at the wi-fi band as the problem, but after creating a 2.4GHz hotspot, connecting my phone to that and yet the process still stalled on "Register Device to Smart Cloud" I fear that the wi-fi band isn't the problem. Will try again another day and send them back if I can't get them to work.

Smart bulb, bright, easy to connect and so far reliable.
Easy to connect to the app. Took less than 30 seconds and does all the features you expect from a smart bulb.

Intermittent network connectivity
Works fine as a light bulb, but I wanted to use it outside as a dusk till dawn porch light. When it works it works well but I have to reset it, the wifi, or both on a regular basis as it keeps going off line which means it either fails to come on at sunset or fails to turn off at sunrise.
