This is a great product that is a huge time saver but it does take some practice to get it right. If you're having trouble getting it to work properly then contact the manufacturer. He's very approachable and it's so worth the trouble to get the FasTrim working for you.

I couldn't believe how easy it was to learn, how the videos on the fastrimroller youtube channel were helpful. it eliminated taping and brush work, and with the tool on an extension pole, I eliminated ladder work. A great time and money and effort saving product.

I am rating it a 1 because as an edger, it didn't work for me. I think your walls and trim would have to be very smooth and mine are not. It worked just fine as a roller. I could have bought something similar to this at Home Depot for MUCH LESS.

This product was ok. Nothing really all that special. I would simply use a brush before having to use this again.

I have tried many items to do the cut in and each time I go back to doing it by hand. I was not able in my first and only test of doing cut ins in the closet to get as close to the edge as I wanted. It got close and it was a very crisp line but not close enough to the edges as I liked so I went back and cut in by hand. Maybe if you are not good at doing it by hand this would be a good option. Maybe I just did not get enough paint in the foam tip that is suppose to squeeze out. I will probably give it another try because the paint it did put down, had it got to the very edge like I like would have only required one coat for the cut in because it did lay a nice even coat of paint.

when i received this item.i did not follow the instructions properly which is very important i contacted the seller who was kind enough to instruct me how to use it.he was very helpful.i tried it as instructed.it works great.a real time saver.everyone who is about to paint a room should have one.it will save you a lot of time.i would buy another one in a second.thank you amazon for another great seller

First of all iam a professional painter, and skeptical on all of these products that promise quick and easy results, as a pro I know nothing in painting is easy , but I bit the bullet and tryed it, because the vids looked promise ing. The product worked very good on the baseboards I painted was surprised on that end, but when I tryed cutting in the wall which was grey where it meets the ceilng which was white. It made a mess could not keep the Grey off of the ceiling, I tryed very hard to follow the instructions to the tee. So it did ok on trim not for wall cut in of ceilng. Hope this helps someone else. Maybe w more practice it may have done better. Ken

The only thing I got from this was the desire to learn how to cut in without tape or a tool that states it will do the job. When you try to cheat or cut corners you are bound to have results that reflect it. While some may be happy with this product, I has completely unhappy with the product and ended up using it only between two doors after I cut the edges in. I watched the videos and followed as described. It simply does not get close to the trim as it should. When you have a contracted painter paint your new home and they cut by hand this tool will simply not cut it close enough to cover the original paint. Granted, part of the issue could be that one no longer HAS to prime before painting a new color thanks to the all in one paint options; thus, there is a clear difference between wall and trim prior to painting. I was excited to have this tool work because we have 12 foot ceilings and this was going to make my task a lot easier. I truly wanted it to work. If nothing else, I was happy that I no longer need tape or this kit to cut the edges. Do yourself a favor and buy a decent brush that specifically says it is for cutting and practice a bit in areas that are not focal points- you will not regret spending the time learning the best way to accomplish it rather than learning how to fight with this product.
