2040 High Density Super Badger Shaving Brush

This is the best brush I've ever used. I works up a later in very short time and doesn't take a lot of work on my part. It doesn't loss hair and it fits very well in my hand. I would highly recommend this brush wittier you are just starting out or you are an experience wet shaver. A good brush mixed with a good shaving cream can make all the difference in the world. This is a little pricey but it is worth every penny.

I really like semogue brushes and from this vendor. The brush performs masterfully really blooms out. Makes quick thick lather out of Proraso and Taylor of old bond street style croap with little effort. Very efficient I use less soap or croap with this brush vs the 620. The 620 is great for a once a week exfoliation but this 2040 is my go to.

Great brush one of my favorite badger brushes. It’s in my daily lineup for sure. Semogue is a good value product, everything they make is fantastic!

I have been wet shaving for many years and own two high quality silver tip badger hair brushes I put together myself. I had been looking for a third brush with a clear acrylic handle and then I saw the Semogue 2040 High Density and I am happy I did.First, there are two cons. The bristles seem a little too stiff (but they will soften up more with use) and aesthetically speaking, there is a brand sticker on the brush I could do without. The sticker doesn't interfere with the brush's performance, of course.The pros for this brush all amount to what I think is a must buy. I think the 22mm knot size is just right for my face. The bristles are tight and packed. The brush didn't lose bristles with use. After soaking the brush in water and washing it before first use it fanned out well. It retains a nice amount of water for building up a good lather in my scuttle (see the picture). Quite importantly, the brush feels good on my face and I enjoy using it. Finally, the handle on the brush is a great size for me. I can get a good grip on it and really work it.Definitely, I would buy this again and may have another in my brush line up soon.

Seems cheaply made! The sticker is coming off right out of the container.Cant get over at this price point how cheap the handle feels.Not worth the price for me. So many better brusher for less.

It was effortless to load and lather with this brush. It fans out quite nicely for a quick efficient face lather.

This brush is a pleasant surprise. It has a modestly dense knot and soft tips. Also, I must compliment the Portuguese Factory for its excellent service. Good stuff.

It is a bit stiffer than my past brush. It hasn’t shed a hair yet. Would buy again.
