Cheap Quality, it will probably start malfunctioning soon after purchase. NOT USB 3.0 (mine wasn't)
It worked well for a couple of days. I later noticed that the Wi-Fi signal was choppy and intermittently cut out when using Zoom on a tablet and laptop. It would not recognize that it was plugged into a USB 3.0 port. I removed it and plugged it into several different ports and still wouldn't recognize 3.0 port. My other 3.0 devices worked and detected 3.0 status, so I believe this is not a 3.0 device. I unfortunately dropped it later when trying to disconnect it to continue to troubleshoot it. I won't return it because of that; it's likely going to end up in the trash can... I highly recommend you get something that is known to be good quality like TP-Link. I have never heard of this brand before. If you buy cheap, you will buy often... It was a good lesson to learn.

AWESOME!!!
Great piece of tech. Latest level of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth all in one device. I have used this device to upgrade my internal/imbedded outdated PC & laptop Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Displays itself as "Wi-Fi 2". Increased speed works like a charm. Strongly recommend.

Wifi stopped working
Wifi and BT worked when I got it and briefly tested it out. Now I'm away from home and the Wifi does NOT work to pick up my cell operating as a hotspot about 1 foot away (it doesn't show up in Device Manager, and the associated utility, which worked at home, doesn't show the device either). As an experienced geek, I've spent all day researching drivers and downloading the latest I could get. But no joy. I'm writing this on a different computer which I also tried it on. Same results.Because the LED does not light up at all, I suspect a hardware failure. I'll be ordering a different device to replace this. Not worth my time to return it.

Not Linux Compatible, NOT for Windows Out of Box.
This is the Notorius : RTL8822BU proprietary Chipset !!!The Realtek RTL8822BU is a highly integrated single-chip that ONLY supports the OS with BIOS Configuration. (Secure Boot Enabled) Why the seller put it into a USB? IDK...Your Windows OS will NOT See it in device manager.Make sure you have the driver downloaded onto USB ready on hand. You will have to MANUALLY INSTALL the driver. Then Download and run the "Show or hide updates" troubleshooter, so that 'Windows Updates' will ignore it, and Will not overwrite it on the next update, which will break it.For LINUX Users:If its not plug and play, your wasting your time. But linux users are stubborn, so here you go:Only certain Kernals will work: as of today, 2023 LTS Ubuntu, does not support this.GOTO : GitHub - morrownr_88x2bu-20210702 Linux Driver for USB WiFi Adapters that are based on the RTL8812BU and RTL8822BU Chipsets. This will be a thankless and rediculious Quest... In the end, if you update your kernel or have rolling updates. You will FROWN. Because it will blow out your driver. Youre Proxy/VPN setting for the driver and more. This device is not worth the cost savings.Cheapest Linux Guaranteed Compatible USB, I could find on Amazon was $20.

DO NOT USE WINDOWS OPTIONAL DRIVERS !
As someone before me reported do not use optional windows drivers update- those updates will make your device unusable. Its def fixable either by system restore or device manager.

Solo funciono 40 días y después ya no funciono
Wifi y Bluetooth funcionaban correctamente, pero al día 40 dejo de funcionar. Solo se cuenta con 30 días de garantía, por lo que mi inversión se fue a la basura.

Driver updates breaks wifi
I had the same issue as many here with wifi disappearing after Windows updates. I had to find the Bluetooth device (which was still working) and roll back that driver ... then wifi came back.
