High Value, Small Price!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I got the 3-9x40 version, and I'll tell you this. If your looking for a scope if your getting into hunting this is a good choice! I've bought scopes for 3x the price at walmart that simply doesn't have the quality and features of this one. For the price you just don't get better. I have it on my AR15 right now and its holding up good with a crisp picture. The flip up lens covers are a nice touch. The zoom works smooth and the reticle is fine and has good definition through all lighting levels on both colors. Overall for the price, it is a good buy!

Patience pays off
Have to write about this one. After mounting this scope on my break barrel pellet gun, I shot 3 of 4 shots dead on into the bullseye. Then, it was WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS THING. Shots went everywhere but where I could see them. Finally after 45 yes 45 more shots, I found the target again. Got it zeroed in and then used an old trick someone showed me long ago. Tapped the windage and the elevation knobs with my jack knife and then put the next 15 shots dead on into a 2" area. So many in one spot I had to start shooting into another area of the target and also bullseyes. What was about to be a one or two star rating just became a solid 5 stars. Hope it stays right where it is. Totally satisfied for this price scope. More than I ever expected for the money.

Excellent Scope!
I have this mounted on a Crosman Phantom NP .22 pellet gun. It works great! The rifle is still pretty new, so some stray shots, but it was not hard to get it sighted in using this scope. Nice that the adjustments can be made by hand - no tools required. Tremendous difference vs. the 4x32 that was included with the pellet gun. It does include Weaver mounting rings, scope covers with pop-up flaps, and a rubber eye piece. For $21 it's a very complete package!

3x9 x 40
twod, what a name, it looks a little cheesy, and there was visible glue where the eye piece connects to the 1 inch tube, I used a black magic marker on this. the reticle is black and illuminates red or green as you dial the light switch. I did not get a sun shade but I did get the rubber eye piece which I might use on another scope. on 3 power it looks pretty good, not so sure about 9 power, it seems to get out of focus and almost cloudy on 9 power. maybe adjustable but doesn't seem to be adjustable enough to clear it up for my eyes at 58 years. I think on 6 power it is fine and I really like it for the price.Update:I zeroed in the scope today on a .223 bolt rifle. It did its part and held zero. The eye piece was screwed all the way out to be clearest at 9 power. Reticle is heavy but ok with me. illumination is ineffective in afternoon light.

Super Easy and Works well for My Needs
I put the risers on and had it mounted and ready to shoot in a few minutes. Shot grouping were similar to other optics of this magnifications but this optic is half or less in price. A great value for a quality optic for any short range rifle setup.

Worked great initially but wouldn't keep zero after several uses
The Good: After buying an expensive Vortex scope for around 1k I opted for something dirt cheap to toss on another inexpensive rifle and chose this. I honestly wasn't expecting much for around $30 but I was initially pleasantly surprised as it came with the rings, was easy to mount and within the first few shots I had it zero'd in at 100 yards. I then took it out to 200 and then 300 yards and was easily able to ring 12" steel targets over and over. It's metal, not plastic, doesn't rattle and looks reasonably well built on the outside. The glass is pretty reasonable for the price. The Bad: Overall it's certainly nowhere near the quality of expensive scopes, the plastic end caps move and fall right off when opening them, the lighted reticle bleeds through and shines out into your eyes more like a flashlight instead of just lighting up the reticle like it should, this effectively makes the lighting system cool looking but useless. But that's all fine, I wasn't looking for top quality here, just something super basic that functions, I could toss the end caps in the trash and never turn use the light and still be happy with it. So how does it function you ask? I was able to accurately and easily shoot targets out to 300 yards but after about 100 rounds through it I noticed the zero would move way off and I'd have to adjust it again, then it would move again and I'd have to keep adjusting constantly, finally I just gave up when I couldn't even get on a 2x4' paper target. I'm just going to spend a bit more on a name brand to get something that lasts.

WOW
I recently bought the 3-9 x 40 version of this scope. I have not mounted it yet but my first impressions are very favorable. It has optics that compare to my Hawke $100 scope and my Bushnell $165 scope. Needless to say I am very impressed. I don't think I really need the illumination aspect of it but that's fine I just leave it off. The only thing I would like to see change is to eliminate the range finder and just have the mill dots which I feel are more than enough. However that's just my opinion and we all know what thats worth. I think this is a good scope and is worth looking at. I would not hesitate to buy another one. I intend to use this scope on air rifles so we will see if it can take the abuse of a nitro piston.

My son is happy!
Put this on our son’s gun and he said it is one of the better scopes he has ever used! Especially for the price! You can’t go wrong! He said it would definitely be better to invest in these for the price compared to the higher prices which have tendencies of wearing out quickly unless you pay the highest dollar for them. Definitely great for hunters on a budget! Or any hunter looking not to have to spend top dollar something that has a chance of wearing out after a season or two! Happy hunting!
