Beautiful and Practical and light
When I ordered I did so because it was pretty but wondered about it being functional. There was no need to worry. It is light which means I can crochet longer and it is smooth! It slides through the yarn effectively no snags no hindrances like so many other wooden hooks. I’m really thankful I took a chance. Worth the money for the beauty and practicability

I really like the wooden hooks and needles and this one is very comfortable to use.
I had a project in mind when I purchased this hook. I needed to use 2 strands of worsted weight yarn so I needed a larger hook. The Divit hook is pretty, very lightweight and comfortable to use! I finished my project in just under a week! Very happy!

Pretty But…
Very pretty, but it just wasn’t for me. The hook was too round, I felt like I couldn’t really get into my stitches, it’s not as smooth as you’d want it to be, but it wasn’t rough. The handle was nice to look at, but it’s just kind of awkward to hold. Would I get another hook? No.

Impossible to read size
Its a pretty decent hook. The handle is easy to hold and doesn't make my hand cramp. The hook seems to have a issue or two. Notch isn't quite deep enough so doesn't grab yarn well. Also, size wasn't clear from the moment I received it and now its impossible to read. Its not the cheapest hook out there so I guess I expected a bit more than just mediocre

Beautiful wooden hook!
Absolutely beautiful design, but I probably won’t buy another one. The tip is very long, which affects the pull-through and alters the tension. I think once I adjust to it it won’t be so awkward, but for now it takes more focus and slows down my progress quite a bit.Overall, I think I would recommend it more as a decorative tool than a working tool, but I don’t regret purchasing it at all.

Hook Shaped head is too large
The head of the hook is way too large for the hook. It makes it very difficult to try and crochet. Other than that, craftsmanship is very good. Will be requesting a refund/return

Great hook!
I've been holding off buying a wooden hook. I learned with aluminum. This hook is so easy to use and comfortable, I'll be buying one in every size!

What I got is not what I ordered.
The crochet hook you sent me was not at all what I ordered. The "carving" was just two parallel lines about an inch from the end of the handle, Even the photo on the box it came in showed a hook of the proper color, but a completely different style of handle than shown in the Amazon description.PLUS it was not solid purplewood, as advertised, but a layered composite of three different kinds of wood. VERY disappointed, but will keep it to add to my crochet hook collection, because it's not worth the trouble to send back.ALSO, others be warned, that the finishing of the wood was less than ideal and was rough enough to catch or snag fine yarn. I had some thousand-grit sandpaper handy, so I took care of that: HOWEVER, the size marking (rather necessary information when planning a crochet project) was so lightly stenciled on the side of the hook that this light sanding completely obliterated the writing. So, quality wise, this deserves no stars, and for not sending the hook I actually ordered, also no stars; I will give it two stars for being a functional crochet hook - of some, now, indeterminate size.

A Lovely Hook
I'm quite pleased with this hook. It's lovely and smooth with just a simple engraved size in mm, which I like. That's all the writing I need on a hook. It is long enough that it can be used for a Tunisian project if it doesn't have too many stitches. I would however, prefer the tip to be a bit pointed to make it easier to get into tighter stitches, this one is quite rounded. I would be happy to have more of these crochet hooks.

Damaged my yarn
The wood was not polished properly right next to the hook. There was a tiny wood splice sticking out n it damaged my yarn. Have to return it.
